Lauren stayed overnight at Camilas house. Sleeping in the bed shes slept in countless amounts of times. She surrounded herself by Camilas smell, and cried herself to sleep. It was weird being alone without Camila. She often woke up abruptly, screaming from nightmares.

After waking up six times in four hours, Lauren gave up on sleeping. She stood up and walked around the trashed house. She noticed a bright yellow envelope in the bathroom. While walking over to the room cautiously, Lauren couldnt help but imagining what could lie in that bathroom, and what the letter said. Camilas body could be in the bathtub, and the letter is a suicide note. She grabbed a knife from the kitchen and peeked into the bathroom. "Hello? anybody there?" After taking a quick sweep of the bathroom, Lauren grabbed and opened the note.

Dear Lauren,

I'm so sorry. Its so hard for me to trust people so I push them all away. I know you'd never hurt me but I cant help but think you will. I'm so in love with you and I'm sorry for hurting you. You mean the world to me and I treat you like shit. I'm trying to change for you, so I can give you what you deserve. Please give me another chance. You won't regret it. Meet me at our spot on Saturday at 2:00 p.m.

Lauren couldn't help but shed a few tears while reading this. She never knew this about Camila. It was Saturday, and she had to be at Miami Beach, in a cave they had found together while on a date, in eight hours. Lauren was excited but nervous. She didn't know what to say to Camila. Not knowing whether to consult any of the other girls on this, she decided to go alone.

Lauren called an Uber to pick her up a couple blocks down from Camilas loft to pick her up. While climbing into the car, Lauren smiled and gave the driver her destination. She was going to buy a new bathing suit and a present for Camila. It was 9:56 a.m. when Lauren arrived at the mall. After paying the Uber she rushed into Forever 21 and bought a one piece bathing suit. After, she got a cinnamon sugar pretzel because she hasn't eaten in two days, and they always made her feel better. Lauren decided on getting Camila a promise ring with a moon and sun on it. Even though it was very expensive, she wanted to spoil Camila, and win her back.

By the time Lauren was done, it was 12:00. She had to meet Camila in two hours. Lauren rushed home and changed, putting on her bathing suit as well as shorts, a tank top, sandals, sunglasses and a hat to disguise herself from the paparazzi. She called an uber and was at the beach in 20 minutes. Lauren kept her head low and speed walked to the cave, anxious to see the brown-eyed beauty. She was right outside, and closed her eyes to take a deep breath. The promise ring in her pocket seemed to have a pulse. Her heart was breaking faster and faster with every breath she took. Lauren finally brought up the courage to walk inside the cave. She looked up and excepted to see Camila, but she wasnt there. Laurens heart sank and she checked her phone for the time. It was 2:00 p.m. exactly. Lauren sat on the ground deep inside the cave, her back against the wall. She cried and cried. Lauren missed Camila. She craved and needed her. It had been so long since she heard her angelic voice and enthusiastic laugh.

And before Lauren knew, she had been in the cave for several hours. Her phone was being blown up by texts and calls from her friends, family and the management, but not by the person she wanted the most. Lauren didnt even bother to check her notifications. She just sat on the floor screaming and crying from heartbreak. It hurt so much and Lauren couldn't bare to see herself or anyone else. Lauren never knew you could hurt so much. She never imagined herself in this place. Lauren looked down at the promise ring and sighed, "Why me?"
