"So you'll never guess where I went last night," Phil chuckled.
"Where?" I sighed. I was trying to write an email to my designer, but Phil kept distracting me.
"Chris and I accidentally stumbled into this drag club and holy shit was it weird."
"How so?"
"These guys were lip syncing or something and one of them crawled onto the bar and started getting felt up by the bartender and then he was all over me and it was bizarre."
"I'm sure it wasn't that bad."
"Chris wants to go back again tonight and I don't know if I can do it again. Wanna go for me?"
"Can't."
"Why not?"
"Working."
"You can't take a night off?"
"Not with this short of notice."
"Shit," he sighed.
"Oh, suck it up. They're men just like you, but more talented."
"Shut up," he smirked.
"Hey, maybe you can bring Cat along. Maybe she'll get a kick out of it."
"I can't bring my girlfriend out when I'm trying to be a wing man."
"Then I don't know what to tell you. Suck it up, dude."
"Dan, can I ask you a really random question?"
"Shoot," I mumbled.
"Do you know what 'tucking' is?"
"It's when guys shove their balls up where they popped down and essentially stick their dick in their ass so they don't have a bulge when they do drag," I said, typing aimlessly.
"How do you know that?"
"I know a lot of useless stuff, Phil. Can I please work in peace?"
"Yeah, of course, sorry..."
"Have fun tonight."
"I'll try," he huffed.***
"Hey, baby," I grinned as I walked into work. I gave Alex a quick kiss before lugging my bag onto the bar. "How was your day?"
"It was alright. I slept sorta wrong on my back so my neck is killing me."
"Want me to rub it for you?"
"Could you? I'd rather you do it now, instead of when you have those stupid nails on."
"Ugh, I know, I hate them too."
"Then why do you wear them?"
"Cause they're hot."
"Fair point."
"C'mere."I hopped on the bar and sat with my legs crossed. I massaged Alex's neck as we discussed how our days were and what we were doing for our next date night.
"Oh, my god, so what did you think of that prick last night?" Alex asked me.
"What do you mean?"
"The one who just shrugged you off."
"I don't really think anything of it anymore. Sometimes straight guys come in here just to please someone else and don't want anything to do with us."
"It doesn't bug you?"
"Sure it does, but you just get use to it, y'know?"
"You shouldn't have to."
"The world isn't perfect, baby." I kissed the top of his head and tapped his back. "I have to get ready."
"Mm, what are you wearing tonight?"
"A decorating bra, some slightly revealing shorts, and my cute red boots."
"Hair?"
"Blonde, high ponytail with a red scrunchy."
"Cute," he said. "You always are."
"Thanks, babe." I quickly kissed him before hopping off the bar. "See you later."
"See ya, honey."I went backstage and got into my hair, makeup, and outfit for the night. Doors open at eight and I am more than ready to perform tonight. Once people started walking in, I noticed Phil and Chris take a seat at the bar.
Alex gave me a nod and I strutted over to them. I gave them a wave and leaned against the bar. Chris waved back while Phil just pursed his lips.
"How are my favorite boys? Can I get you guys a drink?"
"Oh, I'd love one," Chris said.
"I guess I'll have one too," Phil mumbled.
"Alex, honey, make them whatever they want."
"Will do."
"So..." I glared at Alex. He gave me another nod and I smirked. "Would either of you like a dance?"
