"I'll give you to tryyyy this one? Oh wait- no. Not that one. Mmm....this one," Jungkook spoke to himself as you both sat criss cross on your bed across from each other with a box of candy between you both. You held a smile, waiting for him to decide which he'd give you to taste. Your eyes were blindfolded. These candies were childhood sweets you hadn't had in a long time, so you both played a game to guess which candy was given to each other.

"Don't peek," Jungkook cutely sang as he unpackaged the candy. "Then hurry! We haven't watched the movie and it's getting late," you said with a tempted smile as Jungkook smiled mischievously, "okay. Open up," he laughed and your lips parted with a smile. "You better not give me something nasty," you said and he placed a single bead of candy on your tongue.

You tasted it and gently smacked your lips as Jungkook laughed at your silly actions, "you gave me ONE Jungkook. How am I supposed to guess?!"

"Can you guess though?" he asked as he watched your lips. "Ummm.. I think so? Is it Nerds?" you asked and he immediately let out a sound of defeat, "ARG-H you guessed it! With only one! But wait- which flavor is it," he said, refusing to loose.

"Grape," you said without hesitation and you both laughed at how quick you said it. "Okay lets go," you said as you slipped your blindfold off and saw Jungkook mere inches away from your face, leaned over the candies. "What," you questioned as you shied away but kept your eye contact with him. Jungkook pouted and shrugged, keeping quiet as he looked at you.

"I want to taste the grape candy too," he said with a tiny smile. "Then eat the rest of the Nerds in the box," you said quickly as you slipped away from his charms and ran down to the living room, giggling as you heard his heavy steps behind you. Even after 3 years of being together, as a couple, everything about him sent you to a feeling you couldn't avoid.

"YOURE SO MEAN I JUST WANTED A KISS," he said loudly as he reached you and wrapped his arms around your waist, lifting you up as you squealed, "OKAY OKAY IM SORRY! ILL- JUNGKOOK!!," you laughed as he roughly laid you on the couch and grabbed your face. "You're so annoying," he playfully said in an angry tone as he pressed his lips onto yours but you broke into a giggle. "Remember when you couldn't even look at me though? I said hi to you and you said 'it's hot' and you left. But it was snowing-," you reminded him.

"AHHHMMMHM okay okay okay," he interrupted you, hating how shy he used to be around you. He pulled you up as he walked to the kitchen, "Wanna watch the movie or play video games?" he asked. "I'll watch you play first," you said as he came back with a bag of chips. "Overwatch?" he asked excitedly as he sat next to you. "Suuuure," you smiled.

2 hours later

You were still watching him play as he exclaimed in excitement or disappointment. It was so cute to you. He sat in between your legs with his body resting on your chest as you ran your hands through his hair as you both watched the action on the screen. "Oh shoot- GO JUNGKOOK OH MY- RIGHT THERE! GET IT GET HIM!" You screamed as he concentrated with wide eyes and parted lips. "OH OH OH- AH- AWWWWWWW FUCK YEA!!!" he said as he shot his body up in his success, remote in hand. He turned around and kissed you before you grabbed his cheeks and ruffled his hair as his smile radiated beauty. He laid back on you but with his arms around you, with his head resting on your chest as you hugged him back.

He yawned and sighed as you gently caressed his hair. "You're sleepy Kook?" you asked with his favorite gentle voice of yours. "Mhmm," he said lazily as his knees were on the floor and his body hugging yours. You checked your phone. 4 am. Thankfully neither of you work tomorrow. The house fell silent with just the background noise of the video game on. You sat up and so did he, sitting on his ankles and rubbing his already sleepy eyes. You laid down across the couch and extended your arms out at him. "Cmon," you called for him and he stood up like a child, rubbing his right eye as he went and laid down on you again.

He laid between your legs and rested his cheek on your chest, sighing as if it was the best place in the world to be at right now. You continued caressing his hair as you continued wide awake. The sun will wise in a few hours, but just being here in silence was perfect. The TV turned off and complete silence reigned over the house. You could only hear his steady breathing and his hums of him dreaming. His hand unconsciously wrapped around you in his sleep as he let out a sound of comfort.

His eyes opened as he looked up in confusion to what even happened. His sleepy eyes met with yours, "weren't- what- you didn't want to watch the movie?" he asked with a half conscious voice, realizing how he didn't give a chance to do what you wanted. You giggled, "it's okay. We can watch it tomorrow," you said as you continued watching his sleepy features closely.

He blinked heavily and then kept his eyes closed for a second. You placed your hand on his cheek, with an urge to just touch his skin. Your careful fingers caressed his skin so lovingly before he titled his head to your hand, loving your touch and how it brought him peace. He gently laid back down on your chest, moved until he was comfortable and sighed once again. You smiled as you rested you hands on his back, but a moment later he looked for your hand and placed it on his hair again for you to continue caressing him. "Mm," he hummed as you began again. He let out a laugh in his sleep, dreaming of who knows what. "Kookie...you're so cute..and strong, and handsome. You can do everything," you spoke softly, almost to yourself, but appreciating his entirety.

"I love you," he said, and your heart raced. Of course he heard you, but I love you's from him we're rare as shy as he is. Yes, he did demonstrate his love in other ways, but for him to say it was something you never pushed to expect often. You felt how heavy your heartbeat was, yet everything around you was so calm. He felt it, your heart, but he only smiled at himself and drifted off to sleep, hearing your soft, shy voice.

"I love you too."
