"No no no no no no ARGHHH!!!" you puffed heavily as you ran through the snow, late for your final exam. You carried your books against your chest, the ones you used to study for the test. You didn't even have time to put them in your bag. Skipping lunch and the running made your dizzy.

"Late again!" the security guard at the front gate said. You just sighed, attempting to find any source of hope. "You know they probably won't let you in if you don't make it within five minutes," he said and you groaned, rushing through the snow at your feet. You were already an hour late out of a three hour test.

You spotted your classroom ahead where Taehyung was walking in from a bathroom break, "WAIT TAEHYUNG DONT CLOSE THE DO-"

Your body flung back, bringing your words to a halt as you hit the ground hard. Your books scattered everywhere. Perfect. Just great.

"I'm so sorry! (Y/n) I really didn't see you!" you heard Namjoon say. He was the teachers assistant for your class. You'd expect him to be at some other class, finishing his tests early. You sat up and saw Namjoons worried expression as he hurried to pick your books up but kept dropping some as clumsy as he was. "It's okay- I have to go take the test," you said as he handed you a book of yours but he stopped midway as you both held each end of the book.

"-you just got here...didn't you," he said. "Yeah?" you said, surprised he noticed your usual tardiness. "Like always...I mean- I didn't mean it like that, it's just..your tardiness is usual, but I didn't expect you to be late for the final, too," he said as he handed your your last book. You pouted at the low expectations of you. "Expect me to fail too if that's how low your expectations of me are," you said, already irritable enough. You got up and dusted your uniforms skirt off. "Thanks," you said with red cheeks but a saddened smile as you walked past him.

Namjoon has been your crush for a few years yet you've never talked. Well, barely. Lame things like "do I turn in my work here?"
"Yeah, just leave it there," he'd say with his lovely smile that allowed you to appreciate his dimples. You knew he graded your work and entered it into the grade book whenever the teacher asked him to which was often. It embarrassed you how he found out  you didn't do as well as you expected as hard as you tried to study, but he was always kind about it.

He left sticky notes on your work with "don't worry, you can do better next time! (:" but it bummed you out that "next time" never got any better. He didn't seem to be interested in anyone in your classroom though, since he belongs in a higher grade class anyway. He probably felt bad for you and you hated it. Having a crush on someone as smart as him stressed you out. You just wanted to make him and yourself proud, but you couldn't even pass this lower grade class. It wasn't a low grade class. You were actually in one of the higher ones, but he was in the highest.

A genius, admired by many.

"Good luck on your test! You can do it!" he called out with his lovely smile and you gave him a small one, embarrassed to even try for this test. You went inside the class, remembering his kind words of encouragement, but also remembering how he treated everyone in your class exactly the same.

Taehyung sat in his seat next to you as the classroom stood in heavy silence with paper turning and quick scribbles stressing you out even more. "Namjoon decided to stay in our boring class instead of going to take another test for his other class ahead of time. I heard he was given the choice to not even come to school. Hell no i wouldn't have come if I were him," Taehyung whispered at you. "Why'd he come then? He doesn't have anything to do but sit around in silence," you said. Taehyung shrugged with a pout, "I just went to the restroom. The teacher allowed him to go borrow a book from the library."
