She cried out in the dark
Can anybody save me
The echos of her cries
Was all she ever heard
The cries of a song bird
Please can someone help me
That's all she ever cried
Please just end my suffering
In the dark she waits
For anybody to come and save her
Only to cry when no one shows
Day by day she breaks
Losing her hope for someone to come and save her
Her eyes dull and her heart numbs
No one hears the cries of the song bird
