You wake rubbing your eyes. Shawn's arms are wrapped around you holding you tightly

" hmph... "

You mumble, your face Turing a slight shade of red as you realize that Shawn is cuddling with you. You un-wrap his arms from around your waist and get up slowly. Silence fills the bunker. Not a sound from about, just complete silence

" I'm afraid to even look out there... "

you say to yourself, looking at the crack in the boarded up window. You shake it off and walkover to the little kitchen Shawn built in this small basement bunker thing.

" I will wake him up with the smell of food! I'm sure he will pop right up "

you say giggling a bit and grabbing the pancake batter from the Cabinet.

" huh what? "

You hear Shawn say in the bedroom as he sits up. He rubs his eyes. He is in a wrinkled black shirt with sweatpants on.

" are you cooking food (y/n)? "

he say standing up stretching

" yeah you bet I am! Only way you would wake up.. "

you say laughing

" whatever! At least make it good! Don't want to have to wake up to bad food! "

he says laughing

" oh shut it! You know I make amazing food! "

you giggle as he walks over to you, slightly putting his arm around your waist.

" u-umm i- "

you say. Shawn blushes taking his arm away

" anyway... is the food done? "

Shawn asks

" yup! here ya go.. "

you hand him a plate filed with pancakes stacked in it with syrup on it.

" are you going to eat (y/n)? "

he says lightly looking at you.

" no I'm good I made the food for you! "

he looks at you suspiciously

" what's wrong (y/n)? you always make enough for both of us.. "

he say trying to hand you some of the pancakes off his plate.

" no-no-no Shawn it's for you have it please.. "

you say pushing back the plate. He takes the plate back slowly taking a couple of more bites then putting the rest in the fridge. Your eyes follow him and when he turns around you look away

" let's get dressed and go out into the world Im curious the way things look after the bombs hit.. "

Shawn says.

You look around at the houses,trees,cars,telephone lines. Everything is broken, knocked down and destroyed. Tons of bodies lay around the ground

" oh-oh my god "

you say backing up a bit, your hand covering your nose from the stench of burnt flesh and rotting corpse's

" holy shit... I can't believe this.. it's horrible..."

Shawn says also covering his nose.

" OH GOD! "

you scream As a melted/rotting corpse crawls at the both of you.

" argh..argh "

" ugh! What the fuck? "

you say kicking it's head in

Shawn looks away

" let's go search the houses for supplies and things, maybe we can try to signal for help or something! "

Shawn says grabbing your hand and pulling you along, checking house after house gathering plates,forks,wires,phones and pretty much anything that could be used to build or use as food.

* later in the evening you and Shawn are back in the basement bunker*

" well that was interesting.. "

Shawn says sweating, wiping his forehead.

" yeah you could say that.. "

you say putting the silver ware away and food away

" you okay (y/n )? I know that it wasn't to nice out there but we made it! Come on, cheer up! For me.. "

he says taking of his shirt and throwing it in a bucket filled with water. You don't answer, you just sigh and go back to putting the food away. Shawn sighs and walks over to you, grabbing your hips and Turning you around and pulling your waist against him

" s-Shawn come on let go.. I need to put the food away "

you say trying to move his arms off of your hips.

" (y/n), I wanna see you happy.. so if this makes you happy  * he sighs while his faces grows red * okay.. here it goes.. (y/n)..I-love you, I have ever since we first met! you face turns completely red

you say smiling lightly as he pulls you in your a kiss
