You wake up to Shawn's arms around you. You wake Shawn up

" hey why you up already? "

he asked sleepily

" well I was going to..well um.."

you stop and stare at him

" explore outside.. see if I can find anything "

you say trying to smile, hoping Shawn won't try to stop you from going.

" (y/n ), I don't want you going out there! "

he says sitting up quickly. You stop smiling and sigh

" atleast not alone! "
Shawn looks at you and smiles, sighing and rustling your hair

" let's head out! "

he says as you perk up smiling. You throw on a red and black stripped sweater and high waisted black pants, While Shawn is in jeans and a black t-shirt.
Shawn grabs his backpack.

" you ready? "

Shawn smiles and grabs your hand, pulling  you slowly up the stairs to the door, opening the door.

" stay next to me, I wanna have my eye on you at all times! "

he says and looks down at you. You just nod, looking at the awful surroundings again. Everything was destroyed not one thing was standing not even the house you and Shawn lived in. Everything gone family, friends, neighbors. You both walk around scavenging through rubble and burnt cars trying to find anything useful. You wander away from Shawn, wanting to see more of the your once nice neighborhood. You walk into a somewhat standing house with some furniture still in it.

" I honestly can't believe this.. "

you mumble to your self as you wonder through the house. You stumble into the bed room and a loud crunch comes from under your foot. You slowly look down to look at whatever Gross image you were about to see. Your eyes reach your foot and you see the Skelton's of your neighbors, laying there.. burnt

" Jeez....."

You walk away, out of the house and back down the road leading to where you and Shawn's house once stood.

" (Y/N), there you are! You just wondered off? At least tell me before you go off! My god, I was so worried! "

Shawn says with a look of concern on his face, pulling you into a tight hug

" what did you find? "

he says looking at down you

" our.. neighbors... but I would rather keep it to my self..."

you say quietly, pulling away from Shawn

" can we head back shawn..I'm going to get sick being out here.."

You mumble

" Of course, just let me grab my bag.."

after that, you and Shawn head back to the bunker.
* later at the bunker *

" hun... you need to tell me what's gotten into you lately, I'm concerned.."

Shawn says placing a steaming cup of coffee in front of you.

" I just... everything was gone in a blink of an eye... I couldn't say goodbye.."

you say sipping the coffee Shawn made for you.

" that's just how things played out.. but don't forget we have each other! and I won't let anything or anyone take that away! You mean so much to me (y/n) "

Shawn says and smiles, pulling you into a light hug

" how about I cook dinner tonight? To give you a break and be your little maid like you are for me! "

he says chuckling

" good! Didn't feel in the mood to make you dinner anyway! "

you giggle and sip your coffee once again

" whatever! "

Shawn smiles and heads to the kitchen.
