The worlds end ( Shawn Mendes x male reader )

Its all ok

  You wake up in the middle of the night to loud bangs outside of the front door to the bunker.

" w-what was that? "

you whisper to yourself , trying not to wake Shawn up for his slumber. The bangs get louder, almost as if something is trying to break in. You get up from the bed and slowly walk up the stairs to the door. You slowly move your head against the door, letting your hair fall against the door as you listen and the bangs to start back up again. Silence fills the air as you listen, but Something soon slams against the door with your head against it. You scream and fall backwards down the stairs smashing your back against the wall at the bottom of the stairs.

" what the fuck was that! "

You scramble up from the floor. Shawn jumps out of bed shirtless and with his sweatpants on.

" WHATS WRONG! "

he yells concernedly

" s-s-something is up there....I heard it! "

you say as shaking uncontrollably, clearly distressed

" SOMETHING IS UP THERE! "

you scream at shawn as another bang comes from the door.

" nothing is going to get you! "

shawn says grabbing you and softly holding you.

" NO SOMETHING IS UP THERE! "

you push away from Shawn and grab a knife from the kitchen drawer, ready to fight for you and Shawn.

" (Y/N)! what are you doing! "

Shawn says in shock.

" stopping from whatever is up there from coming in! "

you slowly move up the creaking stairs. Once you get to the top of the stairs, you begin to move the knife around under the door, trying to get that thing or whatever it is, away from the door. As you move the knife something touches it

" argh....h-he...lp...."

something  or someone says from the other side of the door. You quickly pull the knife back to see skin colored goop all over this knife.

" UGH WHAT THE FUCK! "

you say holding the knife a distance away from you

" I told you someone is out there! "

you say walking back down the stairs, putting the knife in the sink.

" I guess your right, but whoever they are.. are probally all burnt and shit.. "

Shawn says in disgust

" I will check.. "

you say, slowly walking back up the stairs opening the door to see a Person, in a poodle of there own skin. charred in certain areas and the rest is melting. There eyes are falling off and there  bones are completely visible.

" AHHHHH"

you scream, backing up and slamming the door, turning around running down the stairs to Shawn

" WHAT! "

Shawn screams running to you.

" I-it's a person, there m-melted or s-something I-I don't know! "

you say tearing up, putting your face into Shawn's chest

" shhhh, it's okay.. "

Shawn says trying to calm you down while holding you close to his chest.

"  I'm going to go up there and see for my self! "

he says getting up, placing you down on a chair at the dinning table and walking up the stairs

" Shawn I wouldn't do th- "

you stop talking as he opens the door

" WHAT THE FUCK"

he screams slamming the door

" I told you! "

you say from the bottom of the stairs.

" is that what happened to everyone? "

Shawn asks, walking back down the stairs.

" I suppose so..."

you say and sigh.

" that's so awful "

Shawn says, saddened by what is above.

" atleast you have me? "

you say and smile. Shawn stops and looks at you and smiles

" your right! "

he then grabs you and hugs you tightly. Shawn pulls away and heads towards the bed room

" I think I'm just going to lay down and watch some old movies to get my mind of things... "

he says

" do you mind if I join? "

you ask making puppy dog eyes at him

" awwwww come on! You baby! "

he says opening his arms wide

" thank you!! "

you smile

" your lucky I'm in fucking love with you! "

he giggles. You look up and smile

" I guess I am! "

you giggle too and push him onto the bed turning the DVD player on, wrapping your self up in the blankets, with Shawn behind you holding you close.

" love you.. "

Shawn says lightly as you drift of to sleep.
