Cassidy's P.O.V

Dream/Flashback:

I was 5 at the time. I remember this day clearly. It was 7 months after Dad died. I was too little to understand. Mom told me he was gone and not coming back. I was under pressure because the entire kingdom was pressuring me to be queen. It was a month since I fled the kingdom. I was visiting mom at the time. "Mommy, I'm going to see my fwiends!" I shouted. "Ok sweetie," mom said. I went to see Funneh and the krew. "Cas?" I heard. "Over hewe," I said. They walked over. "Hey guys," I said. "Hey," they said. "Me, Gold, Funneh, and Lunar are gonna explore over there," Rainbow said. "Ok," I said. They went to explore, and me and Draco were left alone. "Hey Cas," Draco said. "Hey Dwaco," I said. "How are things at you're house?" He asked. "With you're parents being divorced." I lied to him when my father died and told him my parents got divorced. "I'm good, my mom, has been bettew," I said. Eventually, I had to head back home. I said by and walked back to my place. When I got home, it was dinner. My mom ate little. She hadn't been eating a lot after my dad passed. She had been losing weight and it scared me that she wasn't eating much.

End of Dream/Flashback

I opened my eyes and sat up. I sighed. I remember when I was little I would go to bed worried. It was the start of everything going downhill. I would always sing a specific song to try to get me to sleep or to calm me down. I hope I remember the words. I got up and left the tree house. I had my lantern in my hand. I sat down in front of the tree house. I took a deep breath and formed the words in my head.

🎶I don't know why he left,🎶

🎶But he's been gone for seven months,🎶

🎶There's a tension in the air that's not so fun.🎶

🎶Mom's been losing weight, I can tell she's not okay,🎶

🎶I wonder if it's my fault he went away🎶
