Stay. | Book 2

Chapter 2

Elena's POV

I grabbed his hand and leaned my head against his shoulder as me walked. Calum was pushing the stroller with Thomas fast asleep in it and Elizabeth was holding onto my other hand.

I looked down at Elizabeth, she was watching the water and the sunset. "It's pretty, mommy." She tells me.

"It is." I nod and smile at her. "It's beautiful."

I haven't really liked going out recently. After having Thomas, my body hasn't exactly been the same. Calum tells me I'm still beautiful but I don't feel comfortable.. after having Elizabeth my weight went back to what it was before. But with Thomas...I feel bigger then ever.

We were stopped by a few fans and Calum took a picture with them and some complimented us on our little family and I told then thank you and they told me I looked great yet I really couldn't shake the feeling they were lying...I'm just paranoid.

As we walked along the trail we stopped and bought some ice cream then we sat down and watched the water and all the boats and basically just enjoyed each other's presence.

I missed doing things like this.

"So I was thinking," Calum began, "When Thomas turns one...I want to get back in the band."

I kissed his cheek. "Do it. It makes you happy." I smiles at him. I trust him.

Calum's POV

"Stay with me." Elena whines half asleep as I try to sit up from the bed. She drapes her arm over my bare chest and nuzzles deeper into my side.

"I'll always be with you." I kiss the top of her head. "But I really have to pee." She giggles and moves her arm.

When I return from the bathroom, she's laying on her stomach and her leg bent on my side of the bed. Her hair was spread out on her pillow and her mouth was parted slightly. Her eyelashes fluttered slightly against her cheeks and she scrunched her eyebrows together, still in her deep sleep.

She looks so peaceful.

I got into bed and pulled her leg on top of me. I traced the curve of her body with my hand and just simply watched her.

She's my Elena.

My beautiful, beautiful Elena.

I can't imagine my life without her. I can't thank her enough for all the things she has given me.

"Elena?" I whisper. She doesn't wake.

"Elena." I whisper, closer to her ear. She stirs slightly.

"Elena?" I kiss her lips lightly and her eyes flutter open.

"Hmm?" She hums groggily.

"Thank you. I love you." I kiss her on the lips once again.

"For what?" She rubs her eyes.

"For everything." I whisper.

"I love you." She tells me and pulls my face to hers. "I love you." She says again.

"I love you." I tell her, still kissing her.

She climbs onto my lap and I prop myself onto my elbows to deepen the kiss.

"I love you."

"I want you forever." I tell her. "Marry me." I tell her against her lips. "Please." I say. "No more waiting." She pulls away from me and looks me in the eyes. "Marry me, Elena."

"It's back on?" She questions me.

"It's back on." I say and a smile grows on her perfect lips.

"Never leave me again." She presses her forehead against mine.

"I won't." I promise her.

We call asleep in each other's arms.
