Elena's POV
"It's so beautiful.." I stare at my reflection in awe. The dress flows perfectly around me and I just cannot stop looking at it. "I don't think I ever want to take this off."
My mother looks at me, her eyes becoming glossy.
"No, no." I say holding up my hand to her. "Don't do that. If you cry than I will cry and I don't want to get any tears on this dress." I let out a chuckle and she laughs with me.
"Calum is a lucky man." I turn around to see Zayn leaning against the door frame, his arms crossed over his chest.
"Indeed, he is." The owner says smiling, clapping her hands together.
She walks up to me, taking my hand in her own. "Are you ready to take the dress home?" She smiles a warm smile towards me.
I nod, returning her smile. "Yeah, I am." I feel extremely anxious and nervous.. the wedding is only two days away and I've never been happier.
"Okay, just change out of the dress and give it to Angela in the back and she'll steam it and bring it up front and it'll be ready for you." She shakes my moms hand and walks back to the front.
I go back to the dressing room and, with the aid of my mom, I'm out of the dress.
"I feel lost without that dress on my body." I say, handing the dress over to Angela.
"Don't be so dramatic, Elena." My mom laughs at me. She takes me by the arm and we walk out towards the front.
I place my purse on the counter and begin to look through my wallet to find my card so I can pay.
"Oh, no, honey," she pushes my card away. "Your dress has already been paid for."
My brows furrow in confusion. "Are you sure?.." I ask her, "Did my fiancé pay for it already?"
"No the nice young man in there paid it for you. Said it was his wedding gift to you." She smiles.
Immediately I go to where Zayn was and hit him in the arm.
"Ow," he laughs. "I was expecting a different reaction."
"Why would you do that? Do you know how much money you just wasted on me?" I ask him, crossing my arms over my chest.
"I didn't waste any money, I thought, instead of wasting money on like a toaster or something I could just do you this favor and now I don't have to buy you a wedding gift. And that's what this is Elena. It's your wedding gift." He smiles at me.
"We'll you are right.." I say. "This is better than a toaster."
We both laugh and make our way out to the front of the store to wait for my dress.
*
"Two days." I said for the millionth time. "Two. Fucking. Days." It's like my mind can't comprehend that it's coming so soon.
"Are you excited?" Calum asks me, running his fingers through my hair. My head was laid on his lap and my legs were propped up on the arm rest of the couch.
"I'm more than excited." I look up at him, not being about to contain the large smile that was on my face.
"Thank you.. " I tell him. "For all of this. I couldn't ask for a more perfect life."
He leans down and kisses me gently on the lips.
"Don't thank me, Elena." He smiles. "I should be thanking you, to be honest. You've made me more than happy, my love."
"Don't ever let me go." I whisper.
"Wouldn't dream of it."
