That whole experience was simple breathtaking. I lay down on the chair when my mother bombards me with questions. My dad is in the pool playing volleyball with my katelyn.
"What took you so long?" she asked.
"There was a huge line at-"
"Where were you?" she interrupted me.
"I was getting there... They have a Starbucks!" I say with enthusiasm.
"Okay I was just worried. I thought you'd come back with your drink and have it here," she says.
I don't think I should tell her about Liam. She would get paranoid about a stranger. Also, I don't think it's going anywhere because he's him and I'm just me. I mean, what if he has a girlfriend?! And he's just leading me on.
I am interrupted by fingers snapping in front of my face.
"Chayse! I think your sister is dead!" KK says and laughs, pointing in my direction.
"What?" I ask, trying to intimidate them. It doesn't work.
"We asked if you wanted to play," Hana says the word 'play' so emphasized that I feel like it's a trick.
"Play what?" I ask, playing along.
"Just come!" Sophia whines while Chayse pulls my arm, making me follow.
"Don't you dare try anything," I state plainly. "Or else..."
"Or else what, sister dearest?" Chayse asked me and I turn around to find my dad. She's obviously trying to act cute and innocent, but I see past her lies.
"Oh, hi dad," I say awkwardly.
"Hello," he says, trying to figure out what's happening.
"I'm going up to the room, k?" I ask him. He nods and hands me the room key.
I walk through the elevator doors and someone asks me-
"What floor, miss?" I turn around and it's Liam.
"Oh hey! And 14." I look at the buttons and realize something. "There's no 13th floor... They must be very superstitious."
"Oh, yeah. So, technically, you are on the 13th floor," he says matter-of-factly.
"True, true," I turn to see him staring at me. I get lost in his eyes until I hear the elevator beep.
"Here's your stop!" he says and holds the elevator door like a gentleman.
"Thank you, I'll call or text you later!" I say. I actually will, though. I don't think he'll answer, just like all of the other guys who broke my heart. "Wait!" I say putting my hand in front of the elevator.
"Yes?" he asks.
"Do you have a girlfriend?" I did it!
"Not yet," he says and the doors close.
I skip to the room and when I'm in, I do a victory dance.
"Woo hoo! Oh yeah!" I start dancing when the door opens and my family walks in. I curse under my breath.
"Well hello, Jordan," my mom says, obviously wondering why I'm so happy. "What got you all giddy?"
"Oh, nothing."
A/N- I really hope you like the story. I will update a lot!
