Chapter Four: Friendly Monsters

Jasper took your hand and helped you out of the boat.

"This is the stop. It's pretty far. Just hang in there. We need to go through the LAB."

"Will who ever lives there be ok with that?"

"Yeah. The Royal Scientist, Natalia, lets me do that all the time. And your in luck. She loves Humans even though she was raised to hate them."

"Who are her parents?"

"King Undyne and Queen Alphys. They adopted her when she was a little kitten. She's like her Mama Alphys. Her sister on the other hand...never meet her. She is the Captain of the Royal Guard and hates Humans like Undyne. She's nice when you know her, but you won't get a chance to know her."

You were slightly scared. Jasper must have noticed because he reasurred you.

"Don't worry about Zandri. She can't come to Hotland. She's an electric eel so she can't be in this kind of heat."

That made you feel better. You both walked into the LAB to see a gray cat in heels running around like a maniac.

"Oh, where is it, where is it, where is it!"

"Hi Natalia." Jasper called out.

"Jasper!" Natalia ran to Jasper and hugged him tightly. "I can't find my Stalker Remote."

"Stalker Remote?"

"Yeah, I have this big CCTV thing here and I like to call it The Stalker Cam 3000. To turn it on, I need the remote and I CAN'T FIND IT!"

You and Jasper looked at Natalia's lab coat and instantly saw the remote in her pocket. You both giggled.

"Nat. It's in your pocket."

"What? No it isn't. That's my pho-" She pulled out the remote and realized that it wasn't her phone. She face-palmed herself. "How on Earth am I the Royal Scientist?"

Natalia's glasses fell off of her face. Jasper picked them up and put them back neatly on her face. "Because you're a genius. Most of the time!"

Natalia hissed at him and they both laughed.

"Natalia, this my friend Kiya. She s a Human."

"It's so nice to meet y-Human?" Natalia hugged you so hard. "I love Humans! They're so strange!"

"Listen. The Dogs are chasing her a-"

"Musketeer better not be chasing her."

"All of the dogs Natalia. Your boyfriend is no exception."

Natalia looked so angry. "BAD HUSKEY, BAD!" She screamed. She regained composure. "Alright, alright. Kiya, I'll be watching you with my Stalker Cam to make sure you stay ok. Where are you guys going?"

"Mom's place."

"Good idea Jasper. Now, Kiya, if you need anything just call me, ok? Here." Natalia handed you an awesome looking phone.

"Thank you!" You put the phone in your pocket.

"We have to go now. Can you keep the Royal Guards off her back?"

"Definantly."

"Thanks." You both walk away.

As you and Jasper walked to his mother's home, you met his friend Katerina. She had hair that looked like fire. Appearently, she was the offspring of a Temmie and a Pyrope. She was very nice and had a very bad speech impediment. Then you met Jasper's cousins and uncle. They were very close to his mother's hotel so they took a pit stop. They had talked for a while when Bella started cooking.
