You walked into Sans's house. His house was a mess. Dirty clothes were scattered everywhere and were all over the floor and furniture. She looked into the kitchen. It was full of empty ketchup bottles and ketchup packets. You walked up the steps and there were two bedrooms. You opened the first door and saw a room that looked like it belonged to a teenage boy. Sans wasn't inside the room so you didn't pay mush attention to it. You closed the door and walked to the second one. you put your ear to the door and heard crying. You looked under the door and saw something glowing blue. You opened the door and saw Sans on his bed crying. You gasped.

"SANS!" You ran to him and hugged him. "Are you ok!?"

Sans wiped the glowing blue tears in his eyes. "why are you here?"

"I wanted to talk to you. The UNDERGROUND can go free! You can go on The Surface!"

"kid, humans will never accept monsters. never. even if you can get us up there. it won't do anything. just give up kid. i gave up way before you came down here. I couldn't save my wife, child or brother! Just stop now. You'll save yourself a lot of pain and agony."

"No! I can't! You can't! Frisk wouldn't ha―"

"so, you're an expert on frisk now, huh? kid, the only one who knew about frisk was me. i knew about her family, her life, her likes and dislikes. more than anyone else did. everyone else. even the ones closest to her will agree with me. and if it wasn't for me, she'd be alive. she didn't get pregnant by herself. it's my fault she's dead. i'm the reason she's fu...fricking dead."

"i'm not an expert on her, i never will be. i never knew her and i never will. but even i know that a girl like her wouldn't want the love of her life brooding and being miserable. And it's not your fault. How can you say that? You didn't know."

"how do you know i was the love of her life?"

"I talk to people. I know you two were married. I know...I know you had a baby..."

Sans chuckled bitterly. "not even my own nephew knows that. my daughter _______. she was so small. was missing an arm. i buried her myself behind this house..."

"I'm so sorry...I'm so, so sorry...Sans!"

"every damn day i want to go up to the surface and raise hell! they took our homes from us. i have to watch tapes frisk made to calm myself down..."

"Tapes?"

Sans nodded his head. "I watch them everyday..."

"What are the tapes about?"

"they're about us. all of her friends. it's...a great way to get know her. the tapes show a lot of her personality. i also love 'em cause they show...all of the friends I lost..." Sans started crying again.

"Can...I watch them?"

Sans sniffled. "sure."

You were so focused on Sans you didn't look at the rest of the room. It was an even worse mess than the rest of the house. The bed was a mess, dirty clothes were everywhere and ketchup bottles were everywhere, both full and empty. Not to mention the self-sustaining tornado and the dog in his room. There was little furniture. There was only a bed, a lamp that didn't work and a T.V. with a VHS player. He also had a box. You wondered if that counted as furniture.

Sans walked to his box and fumbled with some VHS tapes until he found the one he was looking for. That is when you realized he didn't have a single crack on his body. He was walking perfectly fine. He didn't even need a cane.

"Hey! You can walk perfectly fine!" You called out.

"oh, yeah. i like to make myself look a lot weaker than i am." Sans put the tape into the VHS player. The video then started.
