Chapter Five

After Lizzy dejectedly left the room after talking to her father, I turned around to look at the Fairy Camp tree. Thunder rumbled in the sky as it started to drizzle began to quicken.

"What are we gonna do about Lizzy?" Tink asked.

"Well we cant just leave her, her Father almost totally ignored her." I said.

"You wanna go back?"

"Sure, what's the harm?"

We flew back up to Lizzy's room, her window still open. I saw her looking through the book. She was on the size page, where she traced us for our sizes. She touched the picture, obviously missing us. We flew over our pictures, and tried to get our shadows to match the picture.

"Tinker, (Y/N)!" Lizzy gasped with joy. We flew down and landed on her hand, she moved so we were having a group hug. "You came back! I'm so glad to see you... (Y/N), Tinker, Father has no time for the field journal."

"I think we can fix that." We said in unison as we gestured to ourselves.

"Vidian, you sure you know where you're going?" Rosetto asked, sounding slightly monotone.

"Yes. (Y/N), Tinker, and I walked by here. I just have to find the road." I said, leading the group.

"Road? What road?" Faun asked me. We pushed past the last of the grass, and saw... the road! (lol)

"*gasp* That road!" I said, placing a hand on my hip.

"That's not a road. That's a muddy river." Stated Idressie.

"So, I guess we need to find a bridge." Rosetto said. But I ignored him and walked in the road/river, determined to get to (Y/N) and Tinker in the quickest way possible. "Or be spontaneous and jump right in."

"It's not deep, we can walk across." I said as everybody slid down to join me.

"Yeah, no. I don't really do mud." Rosetto said from his place. I instantly turned around and glared at him.

"But you're a garden fairy!" I said.

"Ha. Ironic isn't it?" He said, wavering in my glare.

"Rosetto!" We all yelled at him.

"Okay, all right. I'm coming." He said. He took of his shoes and held them before walking in.

"Its squishy." He wined. "Oh! what was that?!" He said as he sped up a little.

I groaned in annoyance, before the ground beneath my feet gave in a little and I gave out a yelp of shock. Everyone gasped and turned around to see that I was waist-deep in the river. I tried to pull myself up.

"He's stuck!" Said Clank.

"I can get myself out of here." I said, trying again as my friends came to help me. "Gah! All right, all right. Someone just get me something to grab onto." I said.

"Got it! Clanky, rescue device." Said Bobble, climbing into the forest of grass.

Right, Bobble. You can count on us!" Clank cheerfully said, before falling face-first into the dirt, before getting up again and continuing.

"Okay. Let's give this a try." Faun said. Idressie, Faun, and Silver Mist grabbed a hold of my arms to try and pull me up, Rosetto holding his sunflower umbrella over our heads. As they tried to help free me, we heard a faint rumble.

"Do you feel that? He's starting to break free." Said Idressie.

"I don't think so." Said Silver Mist.

A horseless carriage then turned the corner, heading straight towards us. Rosetto ditched the sunflower and his shoes as he, Silver Mist, and Faun tried frantically to free me. Idressie was frozen in fear.

"Come on, hurry." Said Faun.

"Pull!" Said Rosetto.

Idressie then noticed the light the horseless carriage was emitting. He walked before us and used his Light Fairy abilities to blind the human driving. The car screeched to a halt just before hitting us.

"Hello?" The human called into the dark as he stepped out his car. "Is somebody out there? Anyone?" The mans shoe lace landed next to us in the road/river. Faun noticed it and grabbed it.

"Grab this." Faun whispered, holding the shoe lace out to us.

"Are you kidding me?" I whispered back. As we all did not like the idea of touching the humans shoe.

"Trust me. And hold on tight." He said.

We all grabbed a hold of the lace, and wrapped our arms around it.

"Oh well." The human mumbled. He turned around and it sent us flying. As soon as we laned, we hid behind some grass as the human got back in his car and drove off.

"We got the--" Clank started but was cut of by all of us screaming. "...Rescue device."

"You scared the petals right off of me!" Rosetto complained as we all went beck into the grass.

"Did we miss anything?" Bobble asked as he looked through the grass and out into the road/river.

"'My what a splendid tea service. I'm really quite impressed.' Then I say *yawn* 'Why thank you Tinker, you are to kind.'" Lizzy was teaching Tink and I on how to have a proper human tea party. "Then you hold your pinky out like this, and that's the way you throw a proper tea party." Lizzy fell asleep as soon as her head hit the pillow.

Tink pulled up the blanket whilst I gave her a good night kiss, afterwards Tink gave her a good night kiss as well.

We flew over to the door when we heard footsteps coming. Peeking out, we saw Lizzy's dad placing a vase and two buckets underneath some leaks. He turned to come up, but stepped in a bowl full of water.

"Gah, I'm going to bed." He said grumpily.

When he walked by Lizzy's door, he saw that Lizzy was fast asleep.

"There just aren't enough hours in the day." He said before continuing on his journey to his bedroom.

"You can make enough hours in the day if you really wanted to." I thought grumpily.
