Chapter 8 Hunters

I wondered into the house to see what my grandmother needed.
First let me tell you something.

I feel dead, not in a undead emortal vampire sort of way. But in an exhausted I'm about to pass out sort of way.

But I wasn't aloud to pass out, not yet anyway.

I opened the door but suddenly I felt this chill go down my spine and a thought go through my head. Need permission
But I pushed through the door anyway, my family lives here I don't need permission.

The place gave me an odd sense of peace throughout the room.

"Glad to see your buisness with the royals has concluded"
"They're extremely weird"
"Well what do expect? She was raised by people over thousand years-old"
"What did you need to talk to me about?"

"So when you went through the ritual of choosing what all happened?"

"The god of Foxes spoke to me, he said something about being a True Heir"
"That would explain your eye color"

She handed me a book to read called The Right of Azure, the God of Foxes.
"Its gotten a bit dangerous here, so we are sending you home a bit early. But I may contact you at a later date for some recon or something. Your a part if the coven now. Welcome"

I walked through the door to see four people waiting for me.

My mother had packed my bags and as I left the building she threw it to me.

"I've come to say goodbye Lucas, please stay safe"
"I could say the same to you Sophia"
She came in for a hug and I gave her one, it wasn't to long but just enough time to gently bite my neck.
"Something to remember me by" She whispered.
It wasn't bleeding so I let her get away with that.

Nathan stepped forward.

"Lucas Green, do you mind if I ask you something?"

"Yeah go ahead Nathan"

He looked me in the eyes and shifted were he was standing a little, almost as if he was nervous.
"Would you let me come with you?"

"Sure, mom that's okay right?"

We both looked to my mother, on the edge of our seats before she spoke.
"Of course Nathan, but the other girl is also coming with"

I looked to where Luna stood and watched as she grew a small smile across her face, she was overjoyed to hear that she was coming along.

"Sweet, so let's get going shall we?"

Everyone loaded into the car and set off down the road to the airport.

I chatted with Nathan and my mother before we turned into the Winchester Airport. It was just around 8:00 pm when we walked through the doors.
"Well kids, I'm not going with, but I did manage to score all three of you 1st class tickets"

I gave my mother a hug and said my goodbyes.

The plane was the sane as befire, except for a supreme lack of my mother. I sat next to Luna and across from us was my new friend Nathan.

See here's an interesting factoid, he's never actually told me his name but I know somehow. Turns out what happened between him and I was a right of blood. We exchanged blood and in turn gained some new abilites. But now our spirits are connected. If he dies I'm dead, If I die he's dead, so on so forth. But I didn't mind, you wouldn't believe the rush of activating you powers only to feel that your vampire side is about as Royal as It can get. My blood cells began to mimic Nathan's blood and it's increasing my strength.
