Luckily, I knew my way around the woods pretty well. After what had sunk into my head, Mitch tried to stop me. I turned my hands on fire, looking at him furiously. It wasn't his fault, but who else could I blame? He stepped away cautiously.

   "Extinguish the flames, Jess, before..."

I didn't let him finish the sentence. I jumped out the open window and into the woods. I poured on speed, going as fast as I could, getting as far into the brush as I could. I was going maybe 60 or 70 miles per hour. As I learned to develop my skills more, I was told that I could go even faster.

I had a tingling feeling in my gut, and I tried to stop. I skidded a couple yards, leaving big, long streaks in the untamed soil. I could tell that I was in unfamiliar territory. I looked around, quite aware of me trembling like a baby kitten. I don't know why. For some reason, I felt like I was being watched, but noone was there. I zoomed in on my extraordinary sight and hearing, but nothing came.

After a while I decided to go back a ways closer to my house, but not too close. Close enough so that Mitch would hear my screams if something unexpected would happen, but unable for him to find me on his own. I was taught to always be prepared, even though I seriously doubt anything will happen. I sat down on a large boulder, warm from the sun's rays. I was going to sit here for awhile, so I might as well get comfortable.

I focused on a little plant about 20 feet from me. I focused all my anger, my sadness, and my stress towards that plant. I blinked my eyes quickly and thrust my right hand upward. With much force, the plant shot towards the sky at a breath-taking speed. Where it went, I don't know.

All of a sudden, my vision blurred. My hands started to quake. I tried to get up and run toward the house, but my head was spinning too fast. I felt something hit my head hard, then I tripped on something. I screamed, and I saw someone coming toward me. Then I blacked out.
