It was definitely something, hearing Jack stand up for me.
But after I heard Steven leave the room, I decided,
Why not ask?
I flushed the toilet, making it seem as if I wasn't just eavesdropping-
I couldn't really explain I was skipping math class and watching a movie on my phone, now could I?
I opened the door to a flustered Jack, who was probably two or three inches shorter than me, and had probably the most -
He backed up, "Soren, I didn't know you w-were in here-"
I turned to the sink, "I'm leaving now." Geez, I made him that embarrassed?
He didn't leave as I begun to wash my hands, so, to break the awkwardness, I decided to engage in friendly conversation.
Though he never talked to me, and me, him..
"So, what was all that about?"
"Huh?"
I met his eyes in the mirror, "The, 'I'll do it' ?"
Jack brightened to red, "So you were eavesdropping then."
I rolled my eyes, "Well what else could I do? I was using the restroom." I shook the water off my hands, then grabbed a paper towel to finish the job.
Jack didn't say anything, so I turned around to look him in the eyes.
Darn, those green eyes were cute.
He took a breath, "I guess you're right about that."
I nodded, throwing the towel after wadding it, and made it into the trashcan in the corner of the room.
Then I turned to walk out, my class would be halfway through, but I couldn't stand to be in the same room with Jack-with-the-fine-ass.
"Hey.."
I paused, turning around, "Yes?" my heart might've done a little dance like it always did when a boy like him addressed me.
By guys like him, I meant hot guys.
Cute guys like him.
He met my eyes, the green was brighter than his face.
I raised an eyebrow, "Yes?.."
I noticed how he gulped, then he shook his head, "No- nevermind."
I let my fingers fall away from the door, "No, you were about to say something."
Jack's expression changed as I rotated to face him.
"Whatever it is, say it."
He was probably going to call me something mean or-
"Do you want to go somewhere?" he breathed out finally.
