Sorry, but I can't seem to add images that well, so... sometimes you'll see it up there or down here ~Pandie
Wait, what just happened?
Slowly, I walked out of the restroom, trying to process what just happened.. people were already filing out of the classrooms around me..
I just asked a boy out.
I blushed at the smile he gave me.
I..
"Heyyyyyyyy."
I turned to the girl-
Her light blue eyes seemed to stand out as a genetic anomaly, and really was when matched with her ginger hair. She was wearing a light blue blouse and jeans, her skin was pale white.
I frowned, then smiled, "Hey, Survivor, how you do'in?"
Claire rolled her eyes, "Funny." she smiled, "You know what today is?"
I frowned, "Taco-Tuesday?"
This made her laugh, I embraced her in a hug, picking her up a few inches off the ground.
"So how's my little sis doing today?"
Survivor rolled her eyes, "Jack, do you know what today is?"
I chuckled, "What?"
Her bright blue eyes looked into mine, "Really?!"
Chuckling, I wished her happy birthday- she punched me in the shoulder,
"Jerk. It's Dare-day."
.. I bit my lip, "About that..."
Claire isn't really my little sister, but me and her have that special link, like siblings-
And you know, with that link comes arguing, and fighting, and fowl language-
Nah, for us, its all about the inside jokes and pranks.
She is also, which happened by accident, the only person- other than Steven and myself-
who knows we do dares.
And normally she is there when we dare each other..
.. and this year she was going to have her first dare..
.. because she wanted to..
Survivor frowned, "What, Jack?"
"We kinda.. already dared each other.."
She took a moment before sighing, "Can I at least hear your dare?"
I bit my lip, looking into those blue eyes of the tenth grader.
So I told her..
Survivor frowned, "So, do you like him or..?" her expression was puzzled and mixed with concern and maybe disgust- I never really knew with her.
My first response was a shrug, then after realizing I SHRUGGED I-
"It-its a dare."
She frowned, then nodded, "Okay then."
I chuckled, "C'mon, Survivor, you really think Jack Kingsley would really like -"
She laughed, "Alright, I see your point."
I smiled, "Good."
"Okay."
"Fine."
"Great."
"Fantastic."
"Superb."
Opening my mouth- the bell rang for the end of the day.
