MASON

I had just rejected my mate and here I am having sex with a slut. She moans as I slam into her again. Her orgasm was close and so was mine.

"Mason!" Sandra climaxed and I came inside her a few seconds later.

I laid beside her and she cuddled against my naked body. I closed eyes I was expecting a dreamless sleep like every night. But today I apparently don't get that.

My mate, Samantha, was standing on a cliff looking down at the water. She was clutching her stomach. She looked in pain. Pain I caused by having sex with this bimbo.

Her eyes held tears and there were others tears cascading down her cheeks. It hurt to see her like this. But what could I do? She was an omega. She looks weak amd she wouldn't be a fit Luna for my pack. I have heard the rumors about her in school.

"I'm sorry, Rain," she says.

Who is she talking to? As far as I can see she's standing there alone.

"I have to do this," Samantha says.

Again. Who is she talking with?

"He rejected us. He doesn't want us!" she says.

Oh. She must be talking to her wolf.

Wait. Hold on. Her wolf? She hasn't shifted yet.

Unless, she has and didn't shift in front of her pack.

"No. Mason's rejection was the last straw," she says. "It's all I can take."

What is she talking about? As much as I want to ask her this is just a dream.

Right?

"I'm sorry, Rain," she says again.

What is she going to do?

Just as I ask myself that, she jumps off the cliff. I hear a big splash and I can't seem to be able to move.

I wake up gasping for air and coughing up salty water. Tears are running down my cheeks. As I keep coughing up water, I realize it wasn't a dream. It really happened. Sh!t. Then the water stops coming up my throat.

'Mate,' my wolf, Ryder, whimpers.

'What just happened?' I ask him.

'Find our mate,' he whimpers again. 'NOW, MASON!'

I jump out of bed and find some clothes. I ran out of the room to where I had rejected her.

'Let me follow her scent,' my wolf pleads.

I strip out of my clothes and shifted into my wolf. Samantha's scent was faint but I could still make it out. I look at the down at the water and see something floating.

'Mate!' Ryder exclaims.

I work my down the cliff and shifted to my human form. I didn't care that I was nude. Hell, it didn't even matter that the water was cold. I only wanted to get her out of the water onto the shore. I got to her and grabbed on her waist ulling her to me. I got her head out of the water.
