You and Grayson had to get up early one morning for a meeting. It was about 6:30 when you guys decided to meet up.
"Hey Gray! I missed you!!" You said hugging him
"I missed you too y/n!" He said smiling
"Do you want to go get Starbucks or something before the meeting?" You asked
"Ya but do you have any gum? I slept through my alarm and didn't get to brush my teeth this morning." He said.
"Uh Yeah here." You said handing him the gum not noticing that it wasn't sugar free
~a few minutes later~
"Uh Babe! We have a little problem!" He said barely moving his lips.
"Yeah Gray what's wrong?" You asked.
"Um I don't think that gum was sugar free and now it's stuck all over my braces." He said trying to get it off.
"Oh no Grayson let me see." You said
Grayson smiled and opened his mouth. You noticed it was stuck all over his back teeth and to his braces.
"Oh my gosh Grayson we need to get you to the orthodontist!" You said getting out your phone.
"Babe we don't have time for that! We have a meeting!" He said
"Grayson you won't even be able to talk!" You said calling his orthodontist.
"Actually, that's really not a bad thing." you said laughing.
"oh shut up!" Gray said smiling.
~a few minutes later~
"Ok Grayson, get in the car and drive to the orthodontist. They said they can check it out." You said.
Grayson drove you to his orthodontist. You walked in and he went back immediately. You sat out in the waiting room for about an hour and then Grayson came out.
"Did they fix it?" You asked
"Yeah, they had to remove all the brackets in the back and replace them." He said getting in the car.
"Wow it must have been really stuck!" You said.
"Yeah it was and now they said gum of any kind is off limits for me." He said.
"Awh sorry Gray!" You said kissing his cheek.
"It's fine, I just can't wait to get these ugly torture devises off my teeth!" He said.
"Don't worry, it'll pay off!" You said smiling at him.
~a couple months later~
You and Grayson were hanging out at his house and decided to get a snack. You decide to eat some cookies and Grayson wanted an apple.
"Grayson you can't eat that! You'll pop off a bracket!"
"No I won't! I eat apples all the time! It's fine." He said
Grayson took three bites and nothing happened, so you let him finish.
"Uh babe, I think you might have been right about the bracket thing!" Grayson said getting up to go to the bathroom.
"Grayson! I told you!! Now you have to make an orthodontist appointment to get that fixed!" You told him.
"Ugh oh my gosh braces are the worst!!" He said sitting back down.
"It's fine, just don't eat any more apples!" You said.
"Trust me, I won't!!"
~the next day~
Grayson was taking you to his orthodontist appointment to get his bracket fixed. You get there and did what you normally do, sit in the waiting room. It only took them about 15 minutes and Grayson was walking out to meet you.
"Did you get it fixed?" You asked
"Yeah it's fixed, he also told me that he could tell I wasn't wearing my bands and so he put in permanent metal bands that I can't take out." Grayson said looking down very angrily
"See! I told you! You have to wear them, Gray! Now you don't have a choice whether you want to or not." You said
You and Grayson got home and took some cute couple pictures. Grayson hated them all because you could see his metal bands more than the old rubber ones now.
"I'm posting the one of us both smiling and me on your back." You told him.
"No! You can see my bands in that one and it's very noticeable!!" He said looking at you.
"Grayson I don't care! No one else is going to care either! I'm posting it anyway!" You said posting the picture.
A few hours later Grayson was reading through the comments on that picture and he got very upset.
"Y/n, everyone is commenting stuff like 'Grayson got permanent bands! He must not have worn his rubber ones!' Blah blah!" He said.
"Grayson I'm sorry but I'm not deleting this! Who cares anyway!" You said as you leaned in to kiss Grayson.
Ethan walked out of his room right after you guys kissed.
"Hey Gray have you seen my phone charger?" He asked.
"No, sorry Ethan!" He responded not even looking up from his phone.
"Grayson what's on your teeth?" Ethan asked leaning in closer.
"I HAD TO GET PERMANENT BANDS BECAUSE I WASN'T WEARING THE RUBBER ONES, OKAY?!" He said yelling at Ethan.
"Bro chill it's not that big of a deal!" Ethan said walking back into his room.
"See Grayson! It's not a big deal and you need to calm down!" You said while grabbing your stuff to leave.
"Where are you going?" He Asked.
"I have to go finish a school project." You said walking out the door.
"Bye babe! Love you!" He said.
"Bye Gray! Love you too!!" You said blowing him a kiss.
