Chapter 32

Chapter 32: Tarnished

On the way back to the Ryokan, Kyoko had blacked out in Ren's arms. To keep her safe, he put her in his room to rest, as he feared if he were to put her in her own room that blonde kid would try to get close to Kyoko again.

Ren contacted Lory while Kyoko was resting to inform him about the incident, sending him the photos of Kyoko's bruises which he'd taken while she was resting. It was good that he didn't have to cause her more pain by moving her or her clothes too much. Due to her wearing a top that was open in the back and a skirt, Ren was able to get the proof of Sho's abuse as well as the pictures co-stars had taken when the event was going on.

Konoe was one of the people watching the event that went on, so he was fully aware the shooting of any scenes with Kyoko would have to be postponed until she was fully recovered. There would be no way the makeup artists could cover the injuries she had gotten, and she shouldn't work, either.

Kyoko awakens and opens her eyes to see a man beside her on the bed, staring up at the ceiling. She smiles as she places a hand on his lap. "Hello, Ren."

Ren quickly looks down to the girl beside him once he feels her hand and hears her voice, and against his better judgment, he pulls her from the bed onto his lap as he hugs her close to him and holds her tight.

"Kyoko, you scared me. I thought you were too badly injured to wake up." He realizes he's holding her too tightly and loosens his grip.

Kyoko puts her arms around Ren to prevent him from moving away from her. "I'm sorry Ren, I didn't mean to scare you." A few tears fall down her cheek.

The sight of Kyoko's tears was always very painful for Ren to see, he moves one of his hands from around her and places it on her cheek. "Everything is okay now, Kyoko, you're safe and I won't let anything happen to you again."

The previous event had left her quite scared as she had never seen Sho become that mad or violent, but Kyoko smiles as she is overwhelmed with the happiness of being close to Ren again. "I know you won't." she says as she moves slightly to give Ren a kiss on the lips.

Ren returns the kiss, remembering he should mention some things to her. "Kyoko, there are a few things I need to tell you and you can't get mad, please..." He pauses to see the concerned look on Kyoko's face, despite the desire to kiss that off of her he knew he needed to continue, "I told President about the situation yesterday, and I also took some pictures of the visible bruises and sent them to him."

Kyoko listens but she isn't mad with what Ren had done, as she knew it wasn't anything perverted. She knew he did it because he cares about her but she couldn't help it as she was out for 12 hours. An evil scheme came to her; to play with Ren in hopes to cheer up the mood as well as get more affection from the man she was with. She sneakily shifts herself in his lap to make her back facing him and she pouts.

Ren sighs, seeing how Kyoko was reacting and felt bad for what he'd done but he didn't want her to stay mad at him, he knew only one way. Snaking his arms around her waist, he pulls her a little closer to him.

He lowers his head to her ear and whispers, "My Princess, please forgive me, I did it all to protect you from that man. I was scared I would lose you."

"Warrior, it is only your duty to protect the Princess, nothing more." She says going along with the act.

"It is more than just duty, it is because I love you Princess." With that Ren gives into some of his lust as he streams kisses from Kyoko's earlobe down her neck but then hears an unexpected noise from her.

Kyoko's arms break from the pout as she hears what Ren had said, but then she feels his kisses, enjoying it until the kiss got to the sweet spot on her neck which causes her to uncontrollably let out a soft moan, "Ren..."

Ren liked what had just happened, once he hears her call his name he moves his head from her neck thinking that he had messed up somehow. "Kyoko, I'm s-" he was cut off by Kyoko who moved herself in his lap to face him as she turned and made her lips plant onto his, Ren took it that she wasn't mad at him for what he had done.

"She enjoyed it...That's why she said my name; she didn't want me to stop...I will give her what she wants and continue to keep myself under control so I don't do something that we both will regret. She isn't ready for that..." Ren thought to himself.

Ren moves his arm around her waist to hold her in place and deepens the kiss by passing his tongue onto her lips, asking for entrance. It only took a moment for Kyoko to comply and allow Ren to explore her mouth and wrestle with her tongue.

They continue to kiss with full passion until they needed air, they lay down wrapped in each other's arms smiling.

"I love you Ren..."Kyoko says placing her forehead against her boyfriend's chest with a light blush appearing on her cheeks.

"I love you too Kyoko and I always will..." Ren says back to his love and plants a gentle kiss on top of her head.

They slowly drifted into a sweet slumber within each other's arms for a little nap as they wished for this moment to never end.

Sho was sitting in the back of the company van, on his way back to Tokyo due to a call back from his short vacation. There was something important that had come up and he was required to meet up with his manager Shoko that night.

The first thing he sees upon entering the room is Shoko sitting on the couch with her arms crossed, looking annoyed for some unknown reason. He doubted it was about him as he didn't do anything that would have gotten back to her that soon.

Sho sighs and takes a seat across from his manager, "What is going on Shoko-san?"

Shoko pushes a magazine and a folder that was on the coffee table towards Sho, "This is what's going on Sho..."

Sho was confused as he first opens the folder to see there was a restraining order inside, then grabs the magazine to see the front cover was a picture of him with Kyoko pushed against the tree. "Who took this picture..." he thought to himself. He turns to the page with the related article and begins reading it. As he gets deeper into the article, his hands tighten around the edges of the magazine as he gets angry. He also notices the page has pictures of Kyoko's bruises on it.

Sho looks at Shoko, fuming about what he has just seen and read, "Who told them about this! No one could have known about this...there were no witnesses..."

Shoko sighs, "Who told or anything it doesn't matter, your image has been tarnished by you physically assaulting a woman. Especially the one who is more popular than you here and internationally. Sho, you have been banned from LME because of your stupidity of hurting her the first time when she wasn't as famous and now you've hurt her again when she's more famous. You won't ever make the most desirable male's list or have more fans than that actor anytime soon with what you have done!"

Sho looks down and sighs as he knows he's really messed up and now knows what Ren meant about losing more than just Kyoko because of his stupidity and jealousy. He lost his chance to beat him on the desirables list and worst of all he tarnishing his image, that would take him a lot of time to fix.
