"Who do we hate?"
                              "BRENTWOOD?"
                              "Why do we hate them?"
                              "BECAUSE THEY'RE BRENTWOOD!"
The boys erupted into cheers. They congratulated themselves on a good chant and treated themselves to another piece of pizza.
They polished off another bottle of Mountain Dew before facing me. Seth fixed me with a stern glare. "Now what does that tell you?"
I smiled. "That ya'll are stupid."
"No!" He snapped irritably. "Try again. And don't get it wrong or I'm gonna strip the freshmen and lock you in a room with them."
                              "You won't," I challenged.
Seth chucked a pizza box at me, and I narrowly avoided it. He glared. "Try me."
                              I huffed. "Ya'll hate Brentwood," I grumbled.
                              "I'm sorry who hates Brentwood?"
"WE! Dammit Seth. We hate Brentwood."
Seth high fived Daniel. "Coach would be proud," Daniel grinned and passed around another bottle of soda.
Seth nodded and turned back to me. "And if we hate Brentwood, what should we not be doing?" He asked, eyes narrowed and daring me to say something smart.
I smiled pleasantly, which only irritated Seth more. Don't be smart? He was a comedian. "We should not be telling them all of your plays," I beamed. "Don't worry, I've learned my lesson. I won't tell them anymore of your sneak attacks."
The seniors jumped to their feet. "YOU DID WHAT?!" They roared.
                              "Oh don't flip your shit," I smirked. "I haven't done that...yet."
"Alexa you are crossing a line," Daniel warned.
I pointed to the street. "The line was way back there. Ya'll crossed it when you very aggressively shoved me in here and sat me in the middle of the linemen."
"We had to make sure you wouldn't move," Kale defended from my right.
"You were the past the line when you and Graham decided to dry hump in the middle of the street," Seth said sourly.
"Oh please. Half this room would have boners through your 'compression' tights if that had happened," I grinned. "Ha, I can see Julius's right now."
"Julius imma sock you if you look at my sister one more time," Seth threatened the sophomore and made the people move so Julius was banished to the back of the crowd.
Seth faced me. "If you were all so eager with Graham then what the hell was your meeting with Baron all about?" He crossed his arms across his chest.
I stood up. "I don't have to tell you anything," I scoffed. I tried to leave but then Kale grabbed my arm and yanked me back down. Him and Trevor moved in closer to squeeze me even tighter.
                              "Answer," Seth commanded.
"Fine!" I huffed. "He wanted me to call him but Maddie deleted his number before I could. So I went there to find out what he wanted to talk about."
                              "And?"
                              "And what?"
                              "What was it?" Seth demanded.
"How fat your ass looked in your football pants," I growled. "Lay off, Seth. I don't owe you anything. Especially in front of the entire damn football team."
"You broke the rules, you suffer the consequences. And you haven't even been to school yet so I suggest you start talking. Unless you'd rather have to turn down Warner Hoffman's proposal to Homecoming."
