Tom went limp in Matt's
arms."Tom?"he shook Tom a little."Tom?! Tom can you hear me?! TOM?!"Matt shouted through tears. Matt did the first thing he could think of.He picked Tom up,rushed him quickly to his car,and laid him in the backseat.Tom was surprisingly light."Y-you have to stay strong Matt,Tom needs you,"Matt whispered to himself wiping away tears."He'll be fine,"Matt tried to reassure himself, though he wasn't really convinced.

He drove to the hospital as quickly as he could,he ran a red light on accident, but they still made it to the hospital.Matt quickly picked Tom up and ran into the hospital, holding on to Tom tightly. As soon as he busted through the door the lady at the front desk called for someone to hurry in it was an emergency. Two of the hospital staff rushed over with a stretcher ,Matt laid Tom on it. They hastily took Tom to a room were he would get immediate care. The doctors quickly hooked Tom up to an IV drip and a ventilator, also giving him some anesthesia. They started to tend to his wounds.

~about an hour later~

Matt and Edd were in a waiting room. Matt was trying not to cry and Edd was trying to get Matt to tell him what had happened."I-I don't know,"is all Matt would mummer. The doctor came in and set across from them.

"Is he ok?!"Matt said a little louder than he meant to."Well,we've run into a problem...see your friend has the blood type of O negative and we are finding it hard to find someone with the same blood type so that we can perform a needed blood transfusion."the doctor said.

"Do either of you happen to have it?""I have AB positive,so no..."Edd replied with a sigh."How about you sir?"The doctor turned his attention to Matt."I-I don't know my blood type..." Matt said kind of embarrassed to admit it."That's ok we could always draw some blood and check.""Will it hurt?"Matt asked nervously. "It's only a little poke."the doctor reassured."ok...just make it quick, please."Matt quivered slightly.
