~Here's a picture of Mr. Creep~
My jaw drops to the floor. I don't believe my eyes. Standing just at the other end of the store is a tall, young man. He wears a black, knee length blazer, with a white dress shirt underneath. His black pants look rather fancy and he has a pair of black dress shoes on his feet. His brown hair is a little messy and he has perfectly plump lips. And he has the most radiant skin. I gaze at him in shock and disbelief. He looks so much like Mr. Creep! Is it really him? Is he stalking me? Ugh, he really is a creep. We then make eye contact and I instinctively freeze. He notices my reaction and smirks menacingly at me before turning on his heel and wandering off within the store. I just stand there, my feet glued to the floor, face pale, sweaters in hand. Was that really him? No, no it wasn't Aera. You're just hallucinating and I told you to stop thinking about him.
I nod to myself and pat my shoulder a couple of times, snapping back into reality. I take a few deep breaths to calm my beating heart before proceeding with my shopping. I walk around the store searching for some other things I'd like. I head over to a large shelf filled with makeup and perfume bottles. I pick up an elegant looking bottle of perfume and spray it on my wrist to test the smell. Wow, that smells great! I flip it over and look at the price. 20 dollars. That's not too bad. I smile happily to myself as I place the bottle carefully in the shopping cart I've been lugging around behind me. Oh yeah, where is Dohyun and Haneul?
I head over to the women's section of the store. Huh, they're not here.
I decide to head over to the men's section of the store and sure enough Dohyun and Haneul are there. Dohyun is sitting in a chair while Haneul tosses shirts and sweaters towards him begging him to try them on. Dohyun just sits there looking amused. Just date already, I think to myself. Haneul notices me walking towards the two of them with my cart and blushes out of embarrassment. I laugh and poke her side. She rolls her eyes at me and giggles.
"It seems like you guys have found some things you like," I joke.
"As if," Dohyun chuckles and points to the orange-haired girl, "Haneul over here wouldn't stop whining about which shirt would look better with my hair." I laugh and Haneul becomes shy.
"I was just trying to help," she says blushing profusely.
"Ha-ha, I know don't worry. If it makes you feel better, I really like these two," Dohyun assures her holding up a red sweater with Korean scrolled across the front in black and a baby blue one with white sleeves.
Haneul's face lights up, "oh those were my favourites I chose!" She squeals like a little fan-girl. I roll my eyes and Dohyun smiles at her. Dohyun places the sweaters she chose into his cart.
"Aera what did you find," Haneul asks me looking over my shoulder into my cart.
"A few sweaters and sweatpants and a really nice perfume. What about you?"
"I got this really cute fall dress and a couple of sweaters and makeup," she says holding up a beautiful maroon dress.
"Eomeo, Haneul that looks really pretty. I bet it will look great on you," I compliment her.
She laughs, "yeah, when I dye my hair back to brown. The orange look I've got right now totally clashes with its colour."
She has a point. I giggle to myself.
"How about we try this stuff on and get rid off whatever we don't like? I don't think we should spend all our money here if we plan to be out all day," Dohyun suggests, already making his way over to the men's change room.
"Good point," Haneul and I say in unison.
We walk over to the women's change room where a worker hands us a number and instructs us into different stalls. There's a bench, some hooks on the wall and a mirror. I set my things down on the bench and lock the stall door behind me. The first thing I try on is the white sweater with the planets I picked up earlier. Sliding off my grey sweater, I slip into the new one and scan myself over in the mirror. The sleeves are a bit longer than my arms but I like it. Definitely a keeper!
