Noah's P.O.V

I run down the stairs quickly and shoot a look at my mom "Let's go" I say. She nods and grabs the car keys. I guess I was pretty quiet the way over to the hospital so my mom asks me what's wrong. I think for a second. I could take the easy way out and just tell her "y/n getting into a car crash has me stunned... that's all." But I decided against it. "it's just a little crazy how close someone has to be to death until you realize how important they were to you." I tell her, instead. "oh" she replies quietly. When we finally get to the hospital I ran through the hallways desperately looking for y/n when I see her out of the corner of my eye, I come to halt. I guess she spotted me too. "Noah?!" she says with genuine surprise and what seems to be... relief? I rush into her hospital room and hug her. " Oh my god, Y/N you scared me so much are you okay?" I say. "Yeah I-I'm okay... just a little stunned" she responded. there was silence for a second but she manages to break it. "Noah... I am so sorry I should never have lied to you I was wrong I understand what I did and I'm hoping you'll forgive me, but it's alright if you don't" she says the last part looking down. "No... I was wrong I was being irrational, I was just caught up in who I thought you were and that made me act out, I'm so so so sorry." I responded. She hugged me and we made up. And for the first time ever I took a true, honest look at her. she was beautiful, but not like those girls in the magazines. She was beautiful for the way she thought. She was beautiful for that sparkle in her eyes when she thought about something she loved. She was beautiful for the way she made other people smile even when she was sad.No, she wasn't beautiful for something as temporary as her looks. She's beautiful deep down to her soul. 

We had a long talk after. It must have been 2 hours, my mom was talking to Y/N's mom who was in Brookes hospital room, so we could talk alone, but visiting hours were coming to a close and when the announcement came on that stated "Visiting hours end in fifteen minutes" my mom came in and advised that we should get going. I say goodbye to y/n and promise her I'll come back the next day. It would be a Saturday tomorrow so I figure I have nothing better to do. y/n needs to know that I'm on her side and here for her recovery every step of the way, I love this girl and I don't ever want to lose her like I almost did.
