Food!

I gulp loudly. What did Newt mean? I whimper softly and lay my head on Gally's shoulder. So much for eating.

"It's ok Kitten," Gally said patting my head lightly." eat your food. You heard what Newt said."

"But I'm not hungry Cub." I whine.

"Yes you are. Now eat your food."

"No." I pout and cross my arms.

"Yes." Gally said the frustration creeping in his voice.

I turn my head away from Gally, a smile on my face.

"Kitten please for me?"

I shake my head no.

"Look at me please?" Gally said his voice soft.

I slowly turn around and look at him.

"What do you-" Before I could finish, Gally shoves a spoonful of mashed potatoes in my mouth.

"Oh no you didn't." I said a fake angry look on my face.

Before Gally could answer I smear the rest of the potatoes all over his face. I giggle at the shocked expression Gally has. Once I calm down and Gally cleans up, we're back to square one. Getting me to eat.

I stare at Gally and he stare at me. I am watching him because I know he won't hesitate to do something.

"Please Kitten, will you eat." Gally tries again.

I guess I am kinda hungry. I sigh and shake my head yes.

"Thank you kitten." Gally said a small smile on his face.

I pick up the spoon and start eating what is left of the mashed potatoes. I look up and realize the room has gone silent, and everyone is looking at Gally and I. I breath in deeply and continue eating, trying to ignore the stares piercing my back.

Once I finish eating I look back up and see most everyone in the room is finish eating too and is talking.

"Cub?" I question tapping Gally's shoulder.

"Yes, Kitten?" Gally replies turning to look at me.

"I'm tired." I whisper.

"Come here, Kitten." Gally says opening his arms.

I get up and sit in Gally's lap and wrap my legs around his waist and bury my head into his neck.

Closing my eyes I whisper to Gally," I love you Cub."

" I love you too Kitten." Gally answers rubbing my back.

The rise and falls of Gally's chest lull me to sleep.
