After the picnic, we headed to the studio and rehearsed for 4 straight hours and then we were done. We went back to our houses and got ready for the next day.

Sam's POV:
We all went to the venue at 8 am and did a sound check. Tina and Mike kept on flirting while Britt just seemed distant. Every time I tried to approach her, she would say that "she's fine" and she would walk away, but I had to know how exactly she was hanging on, so I tried again....
Sam: Britt, I know that you are going through some very hard stuff and I just want you to know that I am here for you.
Britt: It's just *sighs* I feel like everything I do now is heading me towards my future which isn't looking like a good future. I had a chance to become the TOP of my class and graduate with all the honors which could lure colleges to want to have me, but I blew my chance.
Sam: Well I think the first thing to bring you in the direction to your future is to stop blaming yourself for your mistake. Yes I know that you kept on ditching class, but that doesn't mean that you should give up on your future.
Britt: Thats the thing though, I wanted to be a professional photographer. I wanted to go on more trips and just take pictures of it's beauty. (Mike and Tina walk toward Sam and Britt)
Mike: I was overhearing your conversation and I just want to say that I was in the same place you were in. I wanted to be a chef, but I had failed the final exam of that course. I realized I loved dancing so I applied at a performing arts college and got in.
Tina: Yeah me too. I had a fake stutter but I realized I loved acting so I applied at a college here in Paris with my course.
Sam: I don't really have a story like any of them, but I liked talking so now I am taking classes so I can learn other languages.
Britt: I don't know what else I like though.... photography was my passion.
Sam: You have to have something else you like.
Britt: Well, I mean I've always like math... I took AP Calc when I was a freshman and I always had an A in  all my math classes and I always aced the math part of the SATs.
Tina: Take a math course in a college here in Paris so you don't have to go back home.
Britt: Uhh.... I don't really think I want to have college here.... I have always had my eye on Harvard, Yale, MIT, or my personal favorite Cal Tech.
Sam: Those are all in the US though.....
Britt: Yeah they have great courses for someone that may want to take a math course.
Sam: I mean I guess if you are going to be happy then you should do it. (fake smiles)
Britt: Okay then, is decided ! I'm going to take a math course and go to college abroad!!!
