Chapter 12 - Unexpected Kiss

Lucy POV.

Sparring was going well we were taking a break, Hinata and Tenten made us all lunch.

"Thank you so much you guys! These sandwiches are super good!" I smile as I look over to Hinata and Tenten.

"I'm glad you like them Lucy!" Tenten says to me as she pours me a glass of Lemonade.

All of us were just eating and talking. Everyone was so interested by our powers and the same goes for my wizard friends.

I couldn't help but smile the whole time admiring my friends from two different worlds getting along.

Rogue and Sasuke seemed to be getting along quite well. "Sasuke? finally found someone you could talk to huh?" I giggled as Sasuke blushes and just makes a 'tch' sound.

"Luce are we going to be sparring anymore today. They seem worn out from today's sparring" Natsu says pointing to some of the ninjas. They were all worn out and breathing heavily.

"I guess that's all for today then!" I wave at everyone to gather around. "I hope all of you learned a lot today. We don't know how strong this Zeref guy will be, but guessing on the amount of energy I felt coming from him I can tell you he's at least as strong as two of us wizards put together maybe even more." I say with a small frown on my face as I look around at all the good friends I've made thinking about the danger that lays ahead for them.

'I hope they are ready for this' I think to myself as I walk away from the group a little.

I sit down on a small tree trunk as Naruto comes over to me. "Hey Luce, we will be okay I promise" he says as he puts his hand on my shoulder.

I just look over to him with tears starting to form and I jump onto him and hug him as tight as I can. "I just don't want to see any of you get hurt Naruto" I say as I sniffle a little.

Naruto wraps his arms around my waist and hugs me back tightly. "I won't let any of them get hurt Lucy" He says seriously in my ear. I scoot back a bit and smile at him.

He then leans in a little and our faces are inches apart.

I just look at him with a lustful face and lean in too. He then closes the gap and kisses me.

All of a sudden we heard a cracking of branches and we stop quickly "I-uhm I'm sorry I-i didn't m-mean to" He smiles as his face is red.

"Don't worry Naruto" I say as I get up and pull him with me.

Sasuke POV

'Did I j-just see that?' I question myself as I hold my forehead in my hand.

'Naruto likes her huh? Ha I won't let that happen' I think to myself as I walk back to the group.
