Lucy Becomes Apart of Team 7?!?!

Chapter 5 - GRAY???

Lucy POV

I was getting ready to go train with Kakashi and my team today. I had already gotten dressed in another one of He outfits that had been picked for me from who knows.

It wasn't as flamboyant as the other outfit had been. It was a simple blue and white striped tank that showed my belly just a smug. With a blue mini skirt with my signature belt and Keys. I had put my hair up in a side pony tail. "I'm ready!"

I went to my door and threw on my heavy black combat boots.

I went next door to Naruto and got him up and ready and we headed off to our meeting place. It was a small bridge that ran across a small stream.

As me and my team were talking I heard something that made me break into tears.

I turned to see one of my best friends.

Gray Fulbuster. I started crying with heavy warm tears streaming down my face as I dropped to the ground. My hands covering my mouth looking up at him with such joy present in my glowing eyes. "G-gray?" I said while shaking on the floor. He ran over to me and hugged me with all the force in the world. "Lucy we've been so worried. I actually got through. No one else can get through except me. It's a portal Levy had managed to open." Gray clung to me like I was the last person on earth. I cried into his shirt that he had just put on walking up.

After a few minutes of me bawling into grays shoulder I stood up. Gray was holding my hand knowing I needed it right now. I turned to my new team "T-this is Gray Fulbuster. O-one of my best f-friends" I said to them still trembling just feeling the warmth coming from him.

They were all looking at him and examining him. "Why is his shirt open? And why had he just put it on?" Naruto asked the stupidest question. I dead panned. "Gray has a stripping habit." I looked at gray and chuckled.

Gray then had a vibration coming from his pocket. "Oh the communication Lacrima!" He swiftly brought it out and pointed it towards Lucy and her team. All you heard was a certain pink haired flame brain screaming "LUCY"

"N-Natsu?!?" I yelped and took the lacrima from Gray's hands. "L-Lucy? LUCY?" Natsu said starting to cry as I teared up myself. "Lucy where the fuck are you?!? TELL ME ILL BURN WHO EVER DID THIS TO YOU TO A CRISP!" Natsu gritted his teeth. "Natsu I'm okay. I'm in a world called the world of ninja! I've had an awesome team of friends and a great Sensei helping me cope with being different." I looked over to my new team and smiled. "Here I'll introduce you." I turned the lacrima towards my team "this is Natsu. He was the pink haired doof in the picture I showed you the other day!" I smiled a real genuine smile. One I haven't done in a while. "A WHAT?" Natsu called our from the other side of the small rock form. "Nothing! Introduce yourselves guys!" I said to my team. "Hi! I'm Naruto Uzumaki! I will protect Lucy!" He gave Natsu a toothy grin and Natsu gave him one back "as long as you don't touch her I'm glad!" Natsu pointed at Naruto through the rock form. "Hi I'm Sakura Haruno! I will help get Lucy home!" " Well thank you Sakura!" Natsu smiled yet another toothy grin. "I'm Kakashi! I'm her Sensei and I wouldn't let anything happen to her!" Kakashi waved and Natsu waved back. "Sasuke Uchiha. I'll help I guess" Sasuke looked at Natsu with no emotion.  "Well you remind me of a certain Ice Popsicle. Sasuke Listen. I'll hurt ya. If you hurt Lucy k?" Natsu then smiled. "WHO DID YOU CALL ICE POPSICLE?" Gray shouted now with no shirt on and I saw Sakura light up like a fire.

"GRAY SHIRT!" I yelled and threw his white button up back at him.

"Well Lucy I'll be leaving in about 1 min. Levy can only keep the portal open for 10 min and that introduction kinda took it up!" Gray informed me. I jumped back giving Gray the lacrima. He hands it back "no I brought it so you can talk to us back home" he smiled and snaked his arms around my waist and hugged me tight before he had to go. "Bye Lucy I'll come by another time!" He laughed and then disappears almost like Loke does when I return him to the celestial world. I put my hand in the air and tear up. "Bye Gray..."

I look back at my team. "I'll take you up on that Ramen now!" A big smile goes across my face. "Someone seems happy!" Naruto slung an arm over my shoulder. "How can I not be happy. I finally got to see one of my friends! I'm so happy". Gray had left me his dark blue scarf I had made for him for Christmas last year so I could feel as if he were here with me. I wore it that night and every chance I got I snuggled my nose into it. 'Thank you Gray' I mumbled to myself.

We finally got to the ramen shop.

We sat and I sat next to Sasuke Naruto at the end Sakura across from Sasuke and Kakashi across from me. "Hey Lucy? Can I order for you since you've never been here?" I looked over at the blonde who had asked me. "Yeah go for it!" I smiled over at him and he grinned that toothy grin. I looked down a little sad. It always reminded me of Natsu.

"Is something wrong?" I look up to see Sasuke looking at me deep in the eyes. "Oh no, just Naruto's grin reminds me so much of Natsu's toothy grin that I love to see" I smiled and looked down as I played with my hands. "You'll see your friends again. I'll make sure of it." Sasuke puts a hand on one of my own and rubs his thumb against my cold soft skin. "Thank you Sasuke." I smile at him as he gives me a gentle grin.

Tonight went smoothly with Sasuke helping me.
