Her heart was not in her control,
She could see ,but not observe,
She could hear, but not listen,
No luxury made her wealthy,
Nothing satisfied her poor soul,
The lights of the world was unable to illuminate her heart,
She was another soul racing behind something she couldn't acknowledge,
She assumed she was well liberated,
But nay! She was another victim of trends,
She was portrayed to the world as "The woman of her choice",
But deep down she knew, that she was not what she potrayed,
There was an emptiness lurking in the beneath of her heart and her mind,
Every second of her life was a challenge to be faced,
To prove the world that she was an upgraded version of the modern era,
Little by little ,she crawled back from the world,
The challenge which exhausted her soul was deliberately being lost,
She was welcoming the darkness of the night with open arms,
Because this darkness was a means to brighten her heart,
Finally, the lurking emptiness in the beneath of her heart found it's way,
This was the moment she unshackled herself from the world,
This was the moment she'd been racing behind,
Weak whispers, rivers of tears and empty raised hands,
She for once lived for herself,
This was the moment she found the love of her life,
Her life changed or she changed her life,
Smokey eyes were shifted to teary eyes,
Plumped up colourful lips, were now lips filled with the remembrance of her creator,
The truth struck her! Fake lashes and fake blushes are for those who seek fakery,
While the world was busy plucking the roses, she was mesmerized pondering about the thorns,
Roses were just soft petals, whilst the thorns were the one when pricked, it travels deep down and leaves an impact,
Now she dipped deep into the comforts of her heart,
Just like how her guiding emptiness lurked beneath her heart,
Now she lurked behind her veil, blinded by the beauty of her faith,
And then she happily covered herself,
For her beauty could not be seen by random humans,
Rather it was meant to be discovered by her soulmate,
For he is the one with whom she'll have a halal date,
And one day they'll pass all the barriers and open the jannah gate.
I know the last four lines were very cheesy 😂 but ain't it true??
Baarakallahu Lee was lakum ❤
