Jake was trying to help Finn with his problem making pros and cons lists to help. When the results came in they where even for pros and cons. And Finn still had no idea who to choose but then Jake had the idea to hang out with both of them individually to finally choose. So Finn went to find them and tell them what he wanted to do.
