When the song was over she turned around and kissed him and he kissed back. So Alex just head for the door and started to walk home then pulled out her phone to text Douglas.)

Now this is reminding me of the old days. Alex always had a knack for picking out assholes to date. I walked over there and they were still frenching.
Douglas: (taps Xavier's holder softly)
Xavier: (turning around) Can't you see I'm-

Xavier: (opens his eyes some)

Alex: (sitting at the fountain with her hands in her face)
Douglas: (sits down next to her and pulls her into a hug from behind) It's okay..
