3rd Person
Logan staired out into the pouring clouds above him. His problems were cut off from his mind for a brief moment of peace, letting his mind rest and focus on the rain. The logical trait always had a liking to the sounds, look, and smell of rain, it just intoxicated him.
He soon averted his eyes from the magnificence we call nature and made his way to the door handle, opening it with minimal force. He took many steps making his way to the common room. It being across the hall from the MindPalace room, it was fairly easy to locate. He could hear a cacophony from the room ahead. A mixture of loud talking, banging, and running. He took a step in, seeing everything going on.
Logan's P.O.V.
Patton was making food for the childish 'adults', if we can even call them that, were chalanging eachother to everything from, running, to slowest talker. It was bothersome to say the least. All in a normal day, I suppose.
Once Patton caught sight of me his smile widened. He nudged his head tward the tall children about to tear each others heads off from shouting, them inches away from the other. I got the jist of his request and went to sort out the baby-adults.
I am not one to discipline, but I will do what I must. "Boys." Both of their heads shot around with lightning speed, my intense glare making them stand back up from getting in one anothers face. "Calm down, now." They had suprised carved into their expressions. Finaly, the house will be tranquil. They both went to the table and sat down, awaiting the moral traits arrival. I nodded to them both, Roman regaining his composure and narcissistic additude, while Virgil just nodded back and still looked just as guilty as before.
When Patton came over and gave us our food, he apparently saw Virgil distressed view. He set a gental hand on the dark boys shoulder, Virgils' head shot up, once again, and he locked eyes with Patton and the fatherly trait gave a gental, warm, welcoming smile. Virgil shot back a smirk, not an evil, or cruel mindind one, it was just his way of saying 'thank you'.
~A WILD TIMESKIP HAS APPEARED!~
It was midday and Patton seemed a little out of it. I decided to play games with him, since my conclusion was that the rain was effecting his usual, cheerful mood. I walked over to Patton and began my request. "Patton, the rain seems to be negatively effecting you moodlet. Would you like to partake an activity with me?"
When the words came from my mouth, his face lit up, a huge, goofy, smile carved into his once upset face. "What game!?" Patton peeped excitedly.
Logan's first reaction cane out fast. "Hide and Seek?" Pattons face lit up like fire in a dry, hot climate.
He ran off I and began to count, giving him extra time by counting really slow. By the time I got to ten, the whole house was silent. The palace was quite large so I began with the places that were near me and work my way outward.
~Time skip to an hour later~
Patton is marvelous at this game. It has been around an hour since we began. Even if I seem emotionless, I have a lot of feelings that I dull. I began to worry for Patton, then something makes me terrified for Patton and his wellbeing.
BANG! CRACKLE! HISS!
Thunder rang in my ears as I sprinted down to halls in search of my childish cru- friend. I had to hurry due to his astraphobia.
I then heard muffled sobbing from the closet. I speedily opened it to see Patton hunched on the floor, pushing himself into the corner as far as he could under the wall shelves. Both of the traits hands were clasped over his mouth trying to silence himself. Tears were flooding from his eyes along with his glasses discarded of the floor, his cartagain was asqrew on his shoulders, barely holding on him. It physically hurt my heart to see him like this, which by science shouldn't be possible, but here we are. I walked in and gently picked up his glasses, inspecting them for damage. Luckily, there was none so I folded them up and set them on a shelf for the time being. I got on my knees and pulled Patton into a protective hug. When he awoke from his crushed and terrified state, he grappled onto me like I would fade in his arms. He cried into my shoulder, I didn't care if tears got onto my shirt.
Patton is the top priority right now.
Soon his sobbing turned into small sniffles and slowed tears. I lifted his head with my first finger and thumb while I got his glasses from the shelf, dryed his face with his cartagain, and slipped on his glasses. He softly smiled at me, not the usual goody grin he flashes. This was a small, weak, sad smile. I didn't like it, not at all.
His voice was weak and timid. "Th-thank you, Logi."
I smiled a very rare smile. "I will always save you, Patty bear."
I could tell he knew of the feelings I held tward him due to him being incredible at reading people and I was purposefully making my feeling prominent. We both made hearts on our chests with our hands, smiling as we did so.
