*Third POV*

The morning goes surprisingly fast for Stiles, even with the statement he had to deliver about Brunski. It felt like everything was flying past him in the time leading up to going to the Sheriff's station, everything from actually getting Scott up, telling him about the whole statement thing, eating breakfast and then finally to dropping Scott off at school and driving towards the Sheriff's station.

The actual statement didn't take as long as Stiles would have thought either, nor was it as hard. Sure, he shuddered a little bit at the bad memories, but overall, Stiles went alright with it all and answered everyone's questions calmly. He tried not to dwell on the events that took place in Eichen House too heavily, not wanting to relive that horror again. Stiles was glad to see that Brunski got the sentence that he deserved. Turns out that there was a lot of not so ethical things he did to people at Eichen House. Brunski will be in prison for that and attempting to murder Stiles for 15 years, only allowed to ask for bail after eight years.

Stiles found himself on the front of the police cruiser driving towards school with his dad. They both were in a comfortable silence, enjoying the peace and quiet, since they both didn't get any of that these days. Stiles learned to appreciate the silences instead of hating them even before Scott got bit and all the supernatural problems unfolded, but he never really showed that to Scott much, especially not before they got together.

After five minutes of driving his dad pulled up in the entrance of Beacon Hills High School, or hell, as Stiles called it most of the times.

"Do you want me to pick you up after school?" Noah asks when he rolls down the driver's seat window. Stiles hesitates for a moment before answering, giving himself a moment to fully consider his dad's question.

"No, it's fine, dad. I'll just get a ride with Scott. Besides, I know you would still be pretty busy trying to sort Brunski out. I don't think I even know all the paperwork that something like this involves, but I do know that there must be a hell of a lot," Stiles replies as he shoots his dad a smile and turns around, making his way towards the school building that Stiles has learned to hate over the past few years. He almost wants to ditch, but he knows that Scott and his friends will want to know all about the outcome of Brunski.

"Okay, but please don't get into anymore trouble!" The Sheriff calls out in response, watching his son walk away warily.

Stiles barks out a laugh as he yells over his shoulder, "I make no promises!" it may seem weird for some people to hear that, but both Stilinski's knew that it also means 'love you, take care'. Stiles smiles as he continues walking towards the school, hearing his dad's car drive away.

The teenager strolls into the building and finds it completely empty, not a soul to be seen. Hmm, he was supposed to arrive at lunch time, maybe something bad has happened. With Stiles' luck, that sounds very plausible, and it starts to worry Stiles and he begins to go into defensive mode, but he then realizes that he also could have probably arrived earlier than he exp-

The loud sound of the bell rings throughout the hallway, cutting Stiles' thoughts short and making him jump slightly in surprise. Jesus, he was sure going to get a heart attack someday if that was even possible for him. Plus maybe going deaf as well. Seriously, they need to do something about those loud ass bells. There's no reason why they should be that loud. Everyone can hear the bell loud and clear, but let's maybe not let people who have super hearing go deaf? That'd be nice.

Not even two seconds later, teenagers start to swarm out of the classrooms and into the cafeteria and the hallways, some were leaving to another place, not everyone ate in the cafeteria. Still, Stiles makes his way to the cafeteria and stands on his toes as he tries to look over the constant moving heads of teenagers to try and spot his boyfriend and their group of friends through the massive crowd. It wasn't that hard to look over the bunch of students, since Stiles is fairly tall for his age, but it was still a bit hard. He tries to focus in on his sense of smell too, as it might make his search a bit easier.
