Dating, it's weird. Sometimes you're yelling at each other and a minute later you're planning a date for next week. You were never good at it, that was until you met Mac. You felt it was okay to be goofy and make those mistakes while dating, since you two had an understanding for each other. No relationship is perfect so there were many ups and downs but you two got through it. From finding out your longtime boyfriend Angus MacGyver was actually a government operative which was a secret agent doing things regular government agencies wouldn't be able to do. You've always known that he was different, Mac could never sit still or leave something broken.

Growing up with MacGyver he always fixed things or made things. You always knew he would do something with his life. But not be a secret agent.

Another bump in the road was when Mac's house was rigged to explode along with one someplace downtown. That was honestly when you thought you'd loose him. But MacGyver being himself wouldn't go down without a fight.
This wasn't a "normal" relationship, it wasn't those fancy restaurants as daily dates, well it could be but you never wanted that. Just sitting out on the deck around a fire at your boyfriends house was a great date to you.

It's been 8 years and counting of dating. Ever since high school senior year all the way up to now. (Sorry i don't know the math lol)

Mac was at work which meant saving the world. You were up in your apartment reading a magazine although you felt so sick just reading, which was unusual to you, since you never felt sick like this before.

All month you've felt sick and icky. However you thought it was just a bad case of the cold and you continued to drink herbal tea along with taking naps, a lot.

Your friend Mikela was coming over today, you two haven't seen each other in a few weeks, you two were close. You could trust her with your life and so could she with you.

"You know my mom was sick like this before. It got better overtime. Except she never felt nauseous like how you do." Mikela says worried about her sick friend.

"I told you, I'm fine. I feel great. A little bad cold won't bring me down!" You day confidentially although you did have your doubts.

"Alright, c'mon let's go." You two headed to the mall for some bonding time. When you arrived there you got a text.

On the plane back home now I'm alive
I'll be home in 12 hours, love you. X

You smiled at the text and continued to catch up with you on friend.
"I needa sit down Mikela, I'm feeling sick again," you say putting your hands on your hips.
"Okay just sit right here, I'll go buy some water."

You sat there catching your breath for some reason. A few minutes later Mikela returned with a bag. She handed you the bag and inside was a water bottle and a pink colored box?

You pulled the box out and you read pregnancy test you looked back at Mikela.
"I think you should take one. I mean you have all the symptoms now when I think about it. And also you and Mac are sexually active right?" Mikela says. You do think she has a point. Your heart was beating so fast.

"Thanks Mikela. I doubt it but thanks for looking out for me." After a few minutes of sitting you got back up and started walking. The whole time the thought of you being pregnant was on your mind the whole time.

In your family having a child with someone who you aren't married with was a big no no. Although you and Mac were eventually planning on multiplying at some point you'd never thought you'd find out like this? But still it wasn't confirmed and you wouldn't believe it until you saw a positive test.
