Cade woke up nice and early and headed down for breakfast with his family. They were always early birds and if you didn't get up when they did then you would miss breakfast.
"Good morning."
Cade went over to his mom who was frying some eggs and bacon and kissed her on the head and proceeded to head in to the dining room where everyone was waiting for breakfast.
"Good morning everyone."
"It sure is son. You mother should be done soon so go grab yourself a drink and come sit down."
Once seated Debbie brought the food in and everyone helped themselves.
"So Cade, what did you think of Cleo and her son Max?"
Cade looked at his mother and saw a gleam in her eyes.
"She's really nice and her son is just amazing. He is so smart and funny. I enjoyed spending time with him."
"But what did you think about Cleo?"
"Mom, really?"
"I want to know and so does everyone else."
He looked around the room and saw everyone nodding. He shook his head and replied.
"I think she is beautiful and she seemed nice. We didn't really talk that much so I'm not really too sure yet. I'm going to head down to her shop after eating to see if she wants me to help her out."
"She is very pretty and also a heart made of gold. I know you will like her it's hard not to."
"Mom I've just got back, I'm not going to start a relationship. I need to get myself a job and start building my home. Plus she has a kid remember. Maybe she doesn't want a relationship."
Saying that out laud made his heart clench. He didn't want to believe that one bit. He was hoping that they could have something between them. He knew she felt something for him the way she kept looking at him and blushing when she caught him looking at her. He just had to be patient.
...
Being patient just wasn't his thing. As soon as he got to Cleo's store and saw what she was wearing he just had to make her his.
He entered through the store and saw her head lift up and she gave him the most beautiful smile he had ever seen."Hi."
The sound of her voice nearly done him in but when she walked out from behind her desk he was well and truly done for.
She was wearing tight jeans that moulded on to her legs, she was wearing a white shirt tucked into said jeans and he could just make out her lacy bra underneath. Her hair was falling in waves down her back and he was itching to run his fingers through so that's what he did.
He walked to her in a few long strides and held her by her waist with one hand while the other ran threw her hair.
"Cade what are you doing?"
She looked up at him and he could only stare in to her eyes. He then saw her look down at his lips and then licked her own. That was it. That's all the sign he needed. He knew she wanted to kiss him as bad as he wanted to kiss her.
He bent his head and got close to her lips. He could hear her breath come out in uneven pants and saw her eyes close waiting for him to close the distance and that's what he done.
His lips closed on to hers and it was one of the best feelings he had ever felt. Her arms went around his neck and she ran her hands through his hair and he loved it. She was so soft in his arms. She was made to fit perfectly against him.
