I continued running, tears running down my cheeks.

After a few minutes I slowed down and stopped.

I looked down at my wrist when I remembered I was wearing a watch.

It said that it was 8:45 and I came up with an ingenious plan.

I changed my path and began towards school.

It was Friday and my brothers would think that I would be running to everywhere but there.

I saw the school come into view and I caught the faintest hint of my brothers but I guessed that their smell was only here because they had come to school yesterday.

I walked around to the front of the school and started walking towards the front door.

When I got closer to the front door I groaned inwardly as I saw Hunter, his goons, and the three guys from yesterday sitting on the front steps.

I had to go past them to get into school and I scowled.

I heard Hunter inhale and he turned, looking directly.

His lips curled into a smirk and within seconds all of his "friends" were also smirking.

I decided that I was going to play along with his little game and I smirked.

I reached the stairs and I began to weave through the group when I felt a strong arm grab me around the waist.

Within a moment I was pulled tight into Hunter and I resisted the urge to tense because I refused to give him the pleasure of knowing that I was uncomfortable.

" Hey bitch, where's your posse," he asked me and I heard a few of his friends chuckle for some unknown reason.

" Awwwwwww, does sitting on the stairs make mr. high and mighty alpha feel important," I said as though he was a four year old.

" Bitch, your back to having a death wish," he said and I heard a crack come from my now not fully healed left shoulder.

" Olay first, my name isn't bitch, we went over this yesterday. Second, what is with everyone hating on my shoulders this morning," I said slipping out of his reach but not being able to get past the rest of his goons.

" Fine, sexy," he said smirking.

I lost it.

" Lose the nicknames or I will shove my foot where the sun don't shine," I said turning around and pushing my way into the school.

" Is that so," he said as he grabbed my wrist and spun me around.

The next thing I knew, Hunter's fist was flying at my face and I couldn't avoid it.

I braced myself for pain and sure enough I felt his fist make contact with my nose and there was a sickening snap and I could feel blood begin to flow down my face.

I wanted to cry so badly but i again could not give him that satisfaction.

I looked at him then smiled which caused him to stare at me, wide eyed.

I reached up to my nose and almost shuddered when I felt that it was really messed up.

I grabbed it, took a deep breath, then I popped it back into place.

I couldn't help myself and I winced a little as pain came flowing along with the blood.

He smiled, happy that he had hurt me and I glared at him.

" What is so appealing about hurting me," I said as a tear rolled down my cheek.

" You asked for it," Devin said smirking and I turned to face him.
