Chapter 4: Hunter

I took a deep breath then I looked back at my brothers and decided that I should have a little fun with being here.

" Bye guys," was all I said before I took off, sadly at human speed, without them. I heard them shouting after me but I decided that I would ignore them.

As I was running down the hall I very nearly ran into a couple making out. They seemed oblivious that I'd almost hit them so I didn't stop.

I noticed a few more couples making out and one of the guys I wanted to punch because his hand was snaking its way towards her ass but she didn't seem to mind so I moved on.

After I while of running I admitted to myself that I was completely lost and I needed help from someone to keep the chase going with my brothers.

" Hey blondie," I shouted to a girl who looked up from her locker and straight at me. " I'm new, office," I rushed because I was already passing her.

" Down the hallway,take a left, then fourth door on your right," she shouted after me still sounding a little confused.

I reached the end of the hallway and I took a quick left then I began counting aloud. " 1-2-3-4," I said, slamming to a stop at the fourth door.

I opened the door and let myself in. I walked up to the receptionist's desk and she looked up from her work and smiled, " Can I help you," she asked.

" Yeah, I'm new here and I need my schedule," I said.

" Alrighty dear, all I need is your name," she said and I was about to answer when I felt arms around my neck.

" A girl who is in a lot of trouble," I heard Keith say from above me making me smirk.

" Lily, what did we say about running away," Daniel said turning me to look at him like I was a five year old but when I looked in his eyes I saw that he was actually worried.

" Actually you said nothing about running away, you just said no starting fights," I said sounding like an innocent, young child which made him roll his eyes.

" She's our sister, Lily Blake, and I need to talk to principal Collins," Daniel said and as he was walking past her he leaned over and whispered," She's human," and the receptionist looked shocked.

I turned off wolf hearing because I didn't really want to know what Daniel was saying to the principal.

The receptionist recovered from her shock and she handed me a paper, " Here's your schedule," she said and I felt anger boil in me because she look like she pitied me.

Just then Daniel and the principal came out of the office and I instantly turned back on my wolf senses.

" Lily, I presume, you are aware that this school has a dress code correct," he said eyeing my skirt and pants combination and my baseball cap.

" Yeah," I said in a "what's your point" voice and he glared at me.

" I will be showing you around today to make sure you find everything alright," he said as he pushed past me and left the main office.

I shrugged and followed him to where my locker apperently was. After we had walked for a while he finally stopped I looked at my paper and dialed in my combo.

I looked at the clock and it said 8:50. I turned to my brothers, " How long are each of our classes," I asked. "About 45 minutes,why," Jerome said. " No reason," I replied.

" Hi I'm Liz what's your name," I heard someone say and I looked up to see a girl who looked vaguely like Lacey. "Lily," I replied.

" Well I have to get to class," Keith said and as he went past Liz he leaned in and hissed," She's a human," he hissed before continuing on to class.
