After Jack asked me to marry him we went stright home and . . Celebrated, and fell asleep right after. I woke up in our bed alone, with the sunlight beaming down on my face.
I heard my phone buzz and I looked around for it. I huffed and got out of bed looking all over for it. I finally found it under the blankets and looked at it. Text from Amy, and Kat in our group chat.
Amy: I bet she said yes!!!
Kat: I know I'm so excited!!
Kat: I bet Jack was nervous
Amy: Yea, but it going to be great.
Me: What are you guys talking about?
...
Amy: oh crap, this is the group chat
Kat: Oops
Me: What is Jack nervous about?
Me: What am i saying yes to?
Amy: Didn't he ask you last night?
Kat: Oh no
Me: we went out then to the ocean and he asked me to marry him yea
Amy: WELL WHAT DID YOU SAY!!??
Kat: No need to yell
Me: of course I said yes, he's the best!!!
Amy: *screams* I'm so happy for you!!!!
Kat: Congrats Sam, when is the wedding?
Me: Don't know, I gotta find Jack I'll talk to you guys late.
With that text I put my phone in my pocket and walked down stairs. I didn't hear Jack in the house so I just got some coffee and went to sit on the deck. My phone buzzed again and I pulled it from my pocket.
Jack: Had to run some errands. Didn't want to wake you. I'll be home later. Xoxo
Me: Alright I'll be here
I enjoyed my cup of coffee and 4 more after that. I was a beautiful day out, so I got some stuff to draw with and sat on the deck again. I began to draw, when some one poked my sides and I screamed. I turned around with my sharp pencil ready to stab someone.
Jack.
"Sorry" his said and put his hands up.
Skip ahead about 2 months.
We had been planning for our wedding for about 2 weeks now and I thought it was coming along pretty well. Mark, Eathen, and Tyler helped Jack and Amy and Kat helped me. There was so much work, where to do it how to do it. What to have what not to have.
I flopped on the couch because I could not look at any more flowers. "Samantha, we have to get this done" Amy insisted. I groaned and the 4 boys came in the room. "Did you kill her?" I heard Jack's voice. "Yep, I'm dead" I laughed and let my tounge hang out of my mouth a little. My hands were grabbed and I was pulled off the couch. "Lets go in a walk" Jack suggested while still holding my hand. "But what about all the stuff?" Amy huffed and gestured to the table full of stuff.
"You can have them 3. Just as good as her alone" Jack said and pointed to Mark, Eathen, and Tyler. Jack pulled me outside. He pulled me to the car and we drove down to the beach. We walked beside each other in the wet sand, and said nothing. "This is a lot of work for one day" Jack said finally breaking the sclience. "Yea, but I'm glad it's with you" I said and smiled. "What have you and the guys been doing this whole time?" I asked as we came to our favorite spot. "I don't know? It seems like our friends are more scared to see this happen than us" Jack joked and hopped up on our rock.
"So I'm not the only one who sees it" I laughed sitting beside him. We looked at sun almost set and we continued to talk. "So your all in?" Jack asked me and I looked at him. "Always" I said and squeezed his hand. "Good, me too" he replied.
