Sophomore goalie Colton Point posted his first shutout of the season last night and looks to pick right back up on those efforts. The game would remain scoreless through the first twenty minutes 0-0 heading to the second period. But things go wrong temporarily with 10:56 left in the second period Tyler Busch scored to make it 1-0 sun devils. It remained 1-0 heading into the second intermission. But Colgate came out with fire and fury as they swarmed the sun devil net with 12:10 left in the third period Tyler Penner scored to tie the game 1-1. The game remained tied through final minutes of regulation 1-1 heading to overtime. Nobody scored in overtime so we have our third tie on Colgate's season 1-1 is your final. Colgate goes to 3-2-3 heading into ECAC hockey play.
