On March,14 2018 senior co captain Mike Panowyk decided his talents to South Carolina and the South Carolina Stingrays. The stingrays are the ECHL affiliate of the Washington Capitals Panowyk signed a tryout contract with South Carolina and may be playing in the NHL coming years. Colgate will definitely miss the firepower of mike Panowyk and Evan Peterson but they have some young guns to pick up the slack. If Colton Point and the team have anything to say about it the Raiders will get back to championship weekend Point is give Colgate a chance to win every night. Hopefully Colton Point can be healthy for the entire season next season for the great fans of the Colgate men's ice hockey program.
