Six days later Colgate was back on the ice at XL center in Hartford, Connecticut for a battle against UConn. And it didn't go so well for coach Vaughan's team. With 7:35 Hunter Racine scored to make it 1-0 Colgate heading to the second period. With 16:00 left in the second period Jesse Schwartz scored to tie the game 1-1 early in the second period. With 15:10 left in the second period Joesph Masonius scored to make it 2-1 huskies. With :36 left in the second period Adam Duada scored to tie the game 2-2 heading to the third period. With 6:03 left in the third period Johnny Austin scored on the power play to make it 3-2 huskies. With 4:32 left in the third period Maxim Letunov scored to make it 4-2 huskies. 4-2 huskies it remained Colgate drops to 8-6-4 with their second loss in a row.
