Selena's Pov

Running rapidly across the forest floor, I looked back with slight hesitation and saw everything crumbling down. Clusters of rubble tumble down beside me and I jolt back words, my heart beating like a drum as I had a mini heart attack. Trees are timely ripped from their roots and destroy all the plants below. I see orange and yellow steaming hot lava through the gaps in the ground and gulp. I caused all this. This is all my fault.

Chaos reigns heavy. Silence screams through the abandoned dark forest piercing my soul. I didn't know what was happening or why but if I just kept my hands to myself, we wouldn't be in this situation. I have no one to blame but myself.

Tears stream down my cheeks but fly of quickly as I continue to pace through the forest, not daring to stop. The scorching sun, which was now present due to the demised destruction of the forest, rises from behind the desolate terrain like a rising phoenix from the flames. What is happening? I needed answers and the girl we followed held the answers. . 

Peacefully, the leaves scatter across the hopeless soils and attempt to redeem nature but life slowly fades away. The end was inevitable. There waere no signs of this terrible trauma ending any time soon.

"Hey you." I called ahead to the girl we just met. There was just something fishy about her. Something I didn't fully trust. She just gave me negative vibes and something about her isn't...right.

"No time to talk we need to run." She called back. Her hair covered her face as the wind blew past us. There was something about the way she spoke which frightened me. It was sharp and snappy. Not helpful at all. 

"Just don't stop and you'll all be fine." She says.

I grab onto Justin's hand intentionally and he just gives me a worrying look. His sweaty hand grabs mine tightly. No questions asked. He gently pulls me along keeping to his pace so I don't get left behind and I slowly begin to run out of breath. My legs ache for me to stop but I keep moving as stopping will result in death.

My other hand reaches out to demi so she also doen't get left behind. I would never forgive my self if anything were to happen to these too.

"Hello weird person in rags. Answer me!" I practically screamed so she would hear me above all the sounds of branches breaking and the loud thumps of the trees crashing to the ground. It was insane.

"Keep moving." She said firmly. I made an 'o' shape with my mouth and gave her the death stare. How did she have this much energy? Was she even human? Her voice sounded robotic by how calm she was right now. She was actually mad.

"Hmmm When do we stop?!" I demanded.

I don't know how much longer I could keep this up for. I urgently needed to rest or I would pass out. I needed water and my legs struggled to keep going. Every move I made, the more harder it got to keep going. My heart left out of my chest whenever I heard something behind collapse to the side of me. It was absolutely terrifying like a nightmare that wouldn't end.

"Hey! Listen we need to stop and find some water at least or we will die of dehydration!" Demi took over. She was red in the face, fuming with anger. Who was this girl?

"No water." 

Demi groaned and fought the urge to drag out her messy hair and slap that selfishness out of her very soul.
