It has been a week since everyone has hung out since the thrift store incident. Joan has mostly been home throughout the week.
Bill had just woken up and yawned, then got up and went to his dresser. He opened it and pulled out some shorts and his white and navy blue shirt. Bill then removed the clothes he had on and replaced them with his clean ones. That was all before he got some clean socks, put them on, then slid his shoes on.
Joan was already up and had told herself to get outside, so she got ready and went outside. She proceeded to walk over to her bike that was still where she left it one week ago. Joan lifted it up and got on, then started riding off towards the road.
Bill headed downstairs and grabbed a piece of toast his mom had ready for him. He started to eat it while yelling out to his parents that he was going to ride his bike. Once he got permission from his parents, he headed out, finishing his toast.
Joan decided to circle the neighborhood a few times. She decided to do that until she ran into someone she knew.
Bill headed into his garage and grabbed his bike before putting the kick-stand up. He then started walking it out towards the road. Before getting on, he looked around and saw his friend riding her bike.
Joan was riding her bike down the street from her and Bill's house, and when she looked ahead of her, she saw Bill at the edge of his driveway. She sped up to get to him.
Bill got onto his bike and pushed his bike to the street with his feet, soon meeting with Joan.
"H-hey, Joan." Bill said while giving a small wave.
Joan looked at Bill and waved back while saying, "Hey, Bill. Want to ride with me?"
Bill had no plans for today so he accepted the offer by shaking his head and giving a 'sure' look. He then started riding off with Joan.
"Should we go get the others?" Joan asked, breaking the silence.
"Yeah." Bill said.
{Beverly rode her bike to the pharmacy. She walked inside and grabbed a bag of chips then went to the cashier to pay for them, but she had to wait for an employee to come to the counter. She slipped a pack of cigarettes into her pocket, and when the employee walked up, she paid for the chips. She walked out of the pharmacy while eating the chips.}
While Joan and Bill were riding, looking around for their friends, they saw Beverly.
Joan stopped her bike when she saw Beverly. "Hey, Red. Wanna hang out?"
Beverly walked to Joan and Bill. “Sure. Where at?”
"The Q-Quarry." Bill said to Beverly, answering her question.
“Sure.” She got onto her bike and followed Joan and Bill to the Quarry.
Bill, Beverly, and Joan soon made it to the Quarry.
Beverly parked her bike near a tree and walked to the water.
Bill put his bike up where he pulled up and went to the rocks, then kicked his shoes off.
Beverly started taking her clothes off, leaving her undergarments. She placed them down and jumped into the water.
Bill took his shirt off, then slid his shorts off. He layed them on the rocks, so they wouldn't get too dirty, and went to the edge. Bill soon jumped into the water, too.
Joan removed her clothes, leaving her in her undergarments, and jumped into the water.
Bill was swimming around, at first, then just stayed in one spot for a few seconds.
