Golden Child spoke about Jaeseok's departure from the group.
On January 29, 2018, Golden Child held a comeback showcase for their 2nd mini album 'Miracle' at Blue Square IMarket Hall in Seoul. This marked the rookie group's first comeback since Jaeseok's departure in early January.
On the member's leave, leader Daeyeol showed understanding as he stated, "I tried my best to respect Jaeseok's opinion. We still give encouragement and support one another."
He also added, "Jaeseok leaving the group doesn't mean we've stopped contacting him. We still encourage one another even if we're busy. I've sent a message that includes encouragement for his health and appreciation (for the days he has been with us)."
As for the emptiness and lack of one member, Daeyeol said, "We are now 10 members with Jaeseok's departure. So each of us is determined to work 10% harder (to fill in his emptiness)."
Jangjun added a comment on the group's teamwork, and said, "It's hard for all of us to get together since we have many members but we promised to meet in the practice room at certain times. Also, after practice, we meet at our dorms and take 5 minutes or 3 minutes at least to discuss how our day went."
Meanwhile, Golden Child released the MV for "Miracle" on the same day.
