When Lana Winters discovers she has a crush on Sister Jude she is not sure on whether to suppress it or tell Sister Jude about it.

It was now 21:00 and Lana, accompanied by Frank, was walking up the stairs to meet Jude. Frank knocked on the door twice but there was no answer.
"Apparently Sister Jude is not in Miss Winters. I guess you will have to try again tomorrow."
"What? No. I am not moving from here."
"But she-" Frank started, before he could finish his sentence Jude opened the door.
"Which part of come in did you two not understand?"
"We are sorry Sister, we didn't hear a thing"
"Sister Jude are you ok?" Lana asked concerned upon seeing Jude rocking back and forth, struggling to stand up properly.
"Yeah I am perfectly perfect. Thank you Frank you can go now"
Lana was in the office and Jude was walking towards the bedroom.
"Jude. Where are you going?"
"To the bedroom of course. Isn't that why you are here?"
"No." Lana didn't know what came over Jude.
"You are lying."
"Jude. I am here to talk and have some quality time with you. Our relationship is not based around sex and you know that."
"Do I, Miss Winters."
"You don't?" Lana was hurt. She never would have moved on to the next step if she knew Jude would be so upset about it. She moved closer to Jude holding her around the waist.
"Get off me. We both know what will happen next. You made me fall for you and then you will leave me alone to rot while you will be in your fancy home with your kids and your wife." Jude broke free from Lana's hold and headed towards her desk. That is when Lana noticed it. Jude had a full glass of wine on her desk and she was drinking from a now empty wine bottle.
"Jude. I thought you said you renounced spirits."
"I did. But now that I am revisiting some of my old habits I thought I would start drinking again. Now Miss Winters, let's get you back in your room" she said grabbing the keys for Lana's cell.
Upon hearing that Lana was furious. She walked to Jude, grabbed the wine bottle away from her hands and reached for the glass. When she did Jude started being aggressive towards her.
"Don't you dare Lana. This is the last one and I need to drink it."
"Oh do you? Well sorry Sister" Lana threw the wine glass to the ground, spilling the wine as a result, and the moment she did Jude slapped her hard on her cheek. Jude forgot she was holding keys in her hand before slapping Lana, now the keys cut through the younger woman's skin.
There was complete silence between them for a few of seconds. Lana holding on her cheek and Jude placing her hands in front of her mouth in shock.
Lana began to move towards the door and Jude instantly became sober. She wasn't mad at what had happened, she just wanted to give Jude some time to come to her senses.
Jude whispered right before Lana could open the door "Lana? I am so sorry. I didn't mean to. You were just taking care of me and all I could do was slap you. I don't deserve you." Jude was now in tears for what just happened. "First the little girl and now you. I only harm people when I drink. I shouldn't be allowed to live"
Lana didn't say anything about the fact that Jude just injured her. She walked back to where Jude was standing and grabbed her into the tightest hug, whispering "I love you Jude and nothing you do will push me away from you" in her ear.
Jude's tears fell even stronger and held Lana closer.
"Shh. It's fine. I am here for you. I got you."
"Promise me you will never leave me."
"Of course I won't. You are my world. You think this will push me away from you? Do you remember the time you caned me? Or maybe the time you forced me into ECT? This is nothing for me."
A minute or so later of standing in that position, Jude had calmed down and her sobbing stopped. She turned to face Lana and was surprised by the blood on the woman's cheek.
"You are bleeding. Let me take care of it for you, I got some antiseptic in that cupboard."
Jude began to move away from the embrace but Lana only held her closer. "It is not bleeding. It is just a scratch." Lana took a tissue from her pocket and cleaned the blood off her skin. "Now, sit down and tell me what the matter is. Why are you drinking?"
"I don't want to sit down."
"You don't?"
"If I do then we will lose contact and I don't want that."
Lana smiled and sat down on the chair. She then grabbed Jude's hand and gently pulled her down in order to sit on her lap. "Does this solve our little problem?"
"Yes, thank you" she turned and kissed Lana softly showing how much she loved and appreciated the girl for what she is doing for her.
"So? What is the matter babe."
"I don't want to tell you, I am ashamed of myself."
"Jude, I want you to tell me what bothers you instead of drinking your sorrows away. You know everything about me and I know nothing about you. I only know you were a singer but you never sang for me when I asked you to."
Jude laughed bitterly "I don't think you want to hear me sing Lana. My employers made sure my career was cut short pretty quickly."
"There it is, a glimpse in your past. Now I will ask again. Why were you drinking?"
"I don't want you to leave me. Usually when people have sex with me, they leave. That was the only reason they came to see me in the first place."
Lana couldn't piece together what Jude's past looked like. She wanted to know but she didn't want to pressure the woman into telling her. "Jude, look at me" she said gently grabbing Jude's chin and turning her to meet her eyes. "I will never leave you. Nothing will change just because we slept together. If you want to wait before we do it again then we will. I will not force you into bed in any way. It is as much your decision as it is mine and I want you to be comfortable with me.
"Lana" Jude said with tears in her eyes "What did I ever do to deserve you?"
"Jude hunny, you are an angel and I am the one that should be asking that question. I never in a million years expected someone to love me as passionately as I do them. Yet here you are, spending time with me." Lana smiled genuinely, thinking about how many times she prayed to find true love and experience it with someone.
"I love you so much" Jude said and they shared a soft kiss
Jude was struggling to keep her eyes open and once Lana noticed it.
"Babe are you sleepy?"
Jude nodded, wrapping her hands around Lana's neck and placing her head on Lana's chest.
Lana picked the woman up and took her to the bedroom. Jude was surprised at how strong Lana was but enjoyed how Lana was treating her. Lana placed Jude on the bed and kissed her goodnight.
Right before Lana was out of the door Jude called her sleepily "Lana."
"Yes my angel?"
"Could you stay with me? I don't want to wake up alone"
"Of course." and with that Lana took her shoes off and laid on the bed next to Jude. Jude was crying again and held Lana tight as if her life depended on it. Lana cradled her, whispering "I love you" in her ear and rubbing circles on her back trying to help her calm down.
