Chapter 9 - PINKIE?!?!
"AAAAAAAH!" I screamed.
Mitch loaded an arrow, Jerome sat in battle stance, Pinkie...wait where's Pinkie Pie?
"PINKIE?!?!" I screamed.
No reply.
"Fluttershy! Where's Pinkie?" I asked.
"I don't know!" She replied shivering.
"Well let's take this thing down! Jerome yelled.
The three guys started charging at the Manticore. The Manticore flung them all back against a tree. They looked unconscious, but they were stirring.
This seriously ticked Fluttershy off.
She stomped up to the Manticore.
"How DARE you hurt my friends! What did they do to you? They just wanted through and you had to decide to give a hissy fit! Now, I want you to go back home, and think about what you did! And if you see other ponies out here, I would hope you leave them alone!" She finished.
"But...they were trying to hurt me..." he said in what sounded like a guilty grumble.
"They wouldn't have had to if you hadn't ticked them off! Now go home and think twice before you try and hurt somepony!" She said mildly angry.
She stroked his mane.
"Its ok, just don't do it again, ok?" She said, back to normal.
He nodded and walked off. They were all recovered, but standing there with there jaws open almost to the floor. Me included.
"What?" She said, like nothing happened.
"You just tamed that Manticore!" Jerome said bewildered.
"Yeah, so?" She said and continued walking.
We were all sitting there dumbfounded.
"Are you guys coming or not?" She said.
"Coming!" We all yelled.
"Hey have any of you seen Pinkie Pie?" Jason asked.
Then I remembered, Pinkie was gone!
"PINKIE?!?!"
