Hello my beautiful Cookies! So, as you can see, I haven't been able to follow the schedule i HOPED to follow. Meaning that it's no longer effective. I'm really trying with Who Killed Ciara? but it's just not coming to me right now. I'm going to, however, push myself to upload the next edition to Ours before I leave for Atlantic City as a mini vaca (it's only 3 days, guys. You'll probably live :p ) which is on Sunday. My cousin (a little baby, who is a HASSLE) is still with us, so that makes it all the more difficult to finish. He won't be leaving till NEXT weekend, so uploads will be slow till then, not to mention I've seriously got to practice for the 4th of July parade. So....they'll be coming, shortly. Bear with me, Cookies. That's all for now :p Go on and read the next chapter you've all been seriously anxious for :)

Love, Annie

Chapter 12

Niall

All of the boys and Danielle and Eleanor looked unsure of what to do.

But I gave it a stab.

“Repeat what?” I asked her.

She blinked at me. “Repeat the last thing you said.”

“Um…Freakish ticks height?”

It was the first thing that popped up in my head that rhymed.

Louis held in giggles.

She looked really confused a moment and then shook her head, picking up the broken plates, muttering, “Coulda’ sworn…lunatics?”

I bit my lip. I hated being this close to her and yet, not be able to talk to her, TELL her I’M her ‘Niall’.

“You’re bleeding!”

I snapped out of my thoughts, looking down at Annie, then at Harry who yelled that, and back at Annie.

Her hand was gushing blood out, and she had a part of the glass in her skin. I could see the tears welled up in her eyes.

It pained me.

She suddenly blinked them back though, and not a single tear fell through. Putting a smile on her face, she picked off the rest of the plates with the other hand and left back to the kitchen.

Liam raised a brow at me. “Did you just see her…smile?”

Danielle nodded. “What was that about?”

“She looked like she was about to cry; I don’t get it,” Eleanor leaned forward, out of Louis’ hold.

All of a sudden the second twin came running in.

She flew past us and straight to the waitress’s quarters. If I leaned just a bit, I could see everything.

We were close to the quarters, too. It made it twice as easy to eavesdrop.

“What happened? I’m so confused, Annie.”

“I dropped some plates; it’s fine. Can you just clean this cut up?”

“Annie! How did-oh…never mind. Why are you as peachy as a pie, girl? You’d usually bawl out crying,” Natasha stared at her sister, who hissed in pain when the alcohol disinfect got to her cut.

“I…can’t. Um…I’ve made a promise to someone. Just…never mind. I’ll tell you another time. When I want you to know.”

My face brightened up.

She was smiling, a genuine smile, because she was thinking of that letter.

It warmed me up inside. Leaning back in, I smiled down at the plate in front of me.
