I decided to go for a walk around the nearby village. The one Jihoon and I usually meet at. I got a gift for the Kim family, since they're so helpful and let Hoon and I meet at their place. I left the small box on the doorstep, and turned to go somewhere else. I saw a booth run by gypsies. I heard from someone say that a few of the gypsies decided to stay here for a while, despite their nomadic tendencies.
When I walked up to the booth, I saw one gypsy that caught my eye. He was trying to convince someone to buy one of the necklaces, and he was doing a pretty good job. I can see why. He had a smaller frame and pointy ears, with an innocent face. One of the guards assigned to keep an eye on this village was standing behind him, watching with a sparkle in his eye. I decided to talk to them, since I recognized the guard as one of my old friends.
When I was in front of the booth, the guard looked at me and a smile grew on his face. "Soonyoung! Long time no see! How ya doing?"
"Just peachy, Junhui. And you?"
"Just great. What brings you to this area," he asked, tilting his head.
"Just wanted to check it out around here. Since when did you hang with gypsies? No offense, of course."
Junhui started blushing, and before he could start talking, the fairy-like, small gypsy sitting in front of him said, "He's my boyfriend. Who are you, dickwad?"
"Hao! I'm sorry, Soonyoung. He's cute, but a lot to handle." Junhui said, glaring at the boy.
"No it's fine," I said, laughing. "My name's Soonyoung! What's your's?"
The boy glared at me before saying, with a sweet smile, "Xu Minghao at your service. Are you going to buy something? Because if not, please kindly fuck off. You're in the way of my customers."
I moved to the side, letting him deal with the next person in line. I decided to talk with Jun a bit, catching up on the past few years.
Eventually, Minghao stood up. "Hui, I'm tired. Can we get lunch? I'll just have someone else take over."
"Sure. Anything for you, babe," Jun replied with a smirk. I will admit that they're a cute couple, making me think back to Jihoon. I hope we can have a relationship that everyone admires.
"Soonyoung?"
"Huh, what did you say? I wasn't listening."
Jun laughed lightly. "Clearly. I asked if you wanted to join us for lunch."I thought about it for a second. "Nah, I'll just head home. You guys should spend time together without me third wheeling."
"Sounds like a good idea. We don't need this dumbass around any longer. Let's go, Jun." Minghao said, dragging him away. I just laughed as Jun smiled at me apologetically.
I started walking around some more, stalling before I had to go home. I always enjoyed the little village. It was comfortable.
I finally arrived back, and decided to walk through the halls, enjoying the peace.
My peace time was cut short by a screaming person running down the hall. I looked up to see none other than Lee Seokmin. Who he was running from, I had no idea.
